Chapter 2 (Poppy's Side)

Poppy was waiting for one minute and she's already bored. She decided to explore the room a little more as she waits for Branch to come back.

Poppy found a sword kinda identical to her Branch's sword, This one is a little more sharp and longer.

Next to it is an electric guitar. And of course, spikey. Man, this Branch sure loves spikey stuff. Even though he looks scary, He does seem to care. Which actually makes Poppy flattered.

But.. She loves Branch, HER Branch. She shook the thought out of her head.

Poppy then heard a door knob rolling, It must be Branch.

The door opened, revealing Branch with food on both of his hand. He used his elbow to open the door.

"Im back" Branch said. Poppy noticed Branch brought rice balls  and cupcakes and two orange juice.

Branch placed the food on a table from the corner of the room and sat down on a chair.

"Wanna eat or not?" Branch said impatiently. Poppy slightly yelped, "S-Sorry" she slowly goes towards the table.

Poppy sat down, but hesitated on grabbing a cupcake even when she wanted to.

Branch grabbed a rice ball and swallowed all of it at once. Then grabbed an orange juice and took a sip.

"So.. From an another dimension huh?" Branch asked. Poppy slowly nodded and eventually grabbed a cupcake and took a small bite.

"Any idea of how to get back?" Branch asked again. Poppy shook her head no.

She heard him groan, "Great."

Branch took another rice ball and swallowed it angrily. "What am I going to do with you?" He looked at the ceiling.

"I-I dont know either.." Poppy replied, and took a bigger bite from her cupcake.

"Uhuh" Branch looked at Poppy. "What if I use you as my girlfriend"

"W-What..?" Poppy widens her eyes. She couldnt believe what he just said.

"Yeah," Branch layed his back from the wall. "My dad has been bugging me about not finding someone yet" he looked up at the ceiling.

"B-But.."

"It doesnt have to be a real relationship. Just pretend to be my girlfriend. Its not like its illegal for a Pop and Rock troll to be together" Branch cut off Poppy.

Poppy didnt know what to do. What if her Branch eventually came and saver her and finding out that she's technically with this Branch.

"W-What will I get in return..?" She asked, grabbing the orange juice and took a quick sip.

Branch tapped his chin,

"If you manage to do it for a month, then I could help you find your way home"

Wait.. A month?! Thats really long!

"W-Why dont you ask other girls this?"

"Most girls in the rock kingdom are nothing but a bunch of gold diggers." Branch sat back up and drank his juice.

"But one month is really long.." Poppy looked down. If she actually accepts this deal of his, what is she going to say to her Branch when he found out?

"Then what about two weeks?" Branch adjusted the deal.

"Fine.." Poppy sighed, didnt know why she did it. But its the only way to have a better chance of getting back home.

"Great," Branch smirked, offering his hands to Poppy to make it official.

Poppy shakily went and shook his hand, And ouch.. His grip is really thight.
