Chapter 7 (Poppy's Side)

Branch sighed, "I know a look when I see one" he said as he crossed his arms.

Poppy went towards to the weapons, "I told you, its fine" she reassured him as she placed the kunai's back to where it was.

Branch groaned, hastily going towards Poppy.

Poppy noticed he's angry, again. Did she say something wrong?
She slowly backed up until she reached the wall. She started shivering.

Branch aggressively banged his hand on the wall, looking directly to Poppy. "Im not letting anyone, lie to me with their emotions."

There's no use of pretending to be fine anymore. "Okay okay fine!" Poppy pushed Branch off her.
Wait, since when did she have the guts to push someone?

"I just miss Branch.. MY Branch, from my dimension." She rubbed her arms and looked away.

Branch stood silent for a moment, then sighing. "Just tell me this, would you rather die than not seeing your Branch anymore?" it was kinda weird saying 'your Branch' for some reason to him.

"Yes. I really love him so much. Please, I want to go back to my world, to my Branch" Poppy replied with a confident tone.

Branch sighed and looked at down the floor, he does not want to let anyone faced what he had before, he wont let anyone feel what he felt.
Endless pain, suffering, anger, frustration, cries, and worst of all.

Death of the love of your life.

Branch looked back up at Poppy, "Look, i'll tell you this" he started and stopped for a quick seconds.
Poppy looked at him, raising a brow.

"If I do this, promise me that you would have the best times with this.. Your Branch, and be sure that he enjoys being with you too, got it?"

Poppy was confused. Why is he telling all this to her? Is he going to do something that would effect him real bad?

But first, she didnt want to ignore his question. So she nodded, "I promise".

"Good" Branch grabbed Poppy's hand and dashed to the door, causing her to yelp.
"H-Hey where are you gonna take me?!" Poppy yelled as she tried to get out of his grip

"Just trust me, alright" Branch continued running and held Poppy's hand as thight as he could to prevent them to slip.

Poppy sighed and eventually ran along with him, still having her hands on Branch.

Where is he taking her?

Branch kept going on different directions, and literally ignoring the others yelling on their way.

Finally, he stopped running and ended up facing a big door.
What makes Poppy curious is whats on the other side of the door, and why Branch had took her here.

Branch walked closer to the door, pushing it open.
What came on their sight was.. Some sort of portal??

Poppy and Branch went inside and he closed the door.

Poppy got a hint of an idea of what Branch is trying to do. "Wait.. Are you sending me back to my Universe?!" Poppy screamed.

Branch covered her mouth, shushing her. "Yes, now keep that mouth shut! We dont want to get caught" he angrily whispered.

Branch looked to Poppy's side and ran, pressing buttons.
"Wait, are you gonna get in trouble for this?" Poppy asked as she stared at the buttons he is pushing.

"Definetly." was all he replied.

Poppy gasped, and grabbed a hold of Branch's arms, "Hey, what the hell?!" he growled.

"Then dont! I dont want you to risk your life for a girl you just met!" Poppy yelled.

Branch scoffed and pushed Poppy's hand off his arms. "Atleast you have real love needing you"

"But what about you?" Poppy tried to reassure him.

"Me..?" He stared at the buttons. "All I do is hurt people"

"Thats not true! I may not know it but your dad said you helped them!" she grabbed Branch's hand and held it.

Branch looked up at Poppy, then pulled his arm away.

Suddenly, some loud banging on the door caught their attention.
"Dammit! They must've noticed us coming this way!" Branch went back to the buttons and pressed a few more until the portal opened.
But right after that, the door slammed open.

Poppy was stuck in her place, clutching her chest.
"What are you waiting for?! Go!" Branch yelled, going towards the other trolls coming toward them, punching them hard on the face.

Poppy shut her eyes closed for a second, then immediately ran towards the portal.

"Get her!" a troll yelled.

Right when Poppy almost get to the portal, she suddenly got caught in the net.

"Poppy!" Branch ran towards her, but a troll tackled him, leaving him on the floor with some damn dude on top of him.
"Get the fuck away from me!" he growled, trying to kick him off.

The troll chuckled, "Im not letting you go that easy"

Branch moving and gave the troll a 'Screw that' face, spitting on his face afterwards.

The troll yelled in disgust, leaving him vulnerable and let Branch push him off. But right when he got free he hot shot by a tranquilizer gun. A dozen times actually.

"Fuc-.." Branch dropped on the floor, unconscious.

"Branch!" Poppy cried. A troll came towards her, smirking. "Dont worry popsicle, he's in big trouble"

"What are you gonna do to him!" Poppy yelled at the troll.
The troll chuckled, "You'll see" the troll aimed a tranquilizer gun at Poppy and shot her.

Poppy yelped, getting her vision blurry. "No.."
