Chapter 3 (Branch's Side)

The whole village swarmed him with millions of more questions.
Creek sighed, "Look, sorry everyone but. We couldnt find out what and why it happend" He frowned and looked down at the ground and connected both his hands.

Man he's good at acting.

Half of the Snack Pack quietly glared at Creek. (but now known as Creep)

Creek went out to the mushroom stage without any other word.
Little did he know there was someone waiting for him in the backstage.

He's still dumb as ever.

"Care to explain to us, Creep?" Smidge growled, her eyes saying she was really furious. With the rest of the pack excluding Cooper and DJ Suki since they werent there to find Branch and Poppy.

Creek gave her that innocent looking face.
"Its obvious he's going to die in that forest anyways" he replied, winking and leave without any other word.

Smidge was about to tackle Creek and give him multiple punches until he lost conscious.
But Biggie and Guy Diamond stopped her from doing it by grabbing her arms.

"Let me at him!!" Smidge aggressively tried to break free from their grip.
Until Creek was out of sight.

Smidge had calmed down a little, and stopped trying to escape from their grip.
They let her go, knowing she wont be running after him.

"What do we do now?" Biggie looked down, admitted they were defeated and powerless to control the situation.
"We could, wait for Branch to get Poppy back" Guy replied.

"Who do you think I am waiting for them?" Smidge turned her head to Guy.

"I-Im just saying"

Everyone sighed.

With Branch.

Branch just kept cutting the leaves, vines, and everything else getting on his way with his sword.
But still not knowing where he was going.

Branch finally realized after few minutes later, that he had no plan how to get Poppy back.
So he eventually tried to think back.

How she got sucked in the wormhole, where did it come from?
Branch redraw his sword from his back and tapped his chin.

He had no idea how it appeared, and why.

Branch looked up and jumped at the branches then jumped again at the top of the tree.
He looked around, and some sort of clear space caught his eyes.

He jumped at the other trees, getting a better look.
The surroundings are dead, nothing but dirt and dead trees. What happend here?

Branch went further the place.
He heard something clicked behimd him.

He quickly turned behind, and a net suddenly caught him.

"Agh! What the-?" Branch quickly drew his sword and cut the net.

"Whose there?!" He positioned himself, getting ready for another attack.

He noticed a shadow figure hiding itself from the shadows.
Branch pointed his sword towards it. "I know your there! Show yourself!" he demanded.

Branch noticed the shadow figure pulled down their weapon and came out of the shadows, showing an aqua colored troll, nearly similar to Branch's.

"Branch..? Is that you?"
