Love. Something that Jennifer has never experienced. She was 25 years old and never once had she been in love. Yeah, she had a few dates here and there, but she never experienced real love.

It was a beautiful Friday morning, bright and early, merely 7:00 am and Jennifer was out on her daily run in Central Park. She liked to start off her day just right. The nice breeze of the November day was whistling through her hair and it made her run even more enjoyable. As she was daydreaming about her day that would be full of boring meetings and uneventful activities, she was thinking about her day and not really paying attention to where she was running this might be the best mistake she ever made, she crashed into someone and dropped her phone and her earbuds,

"Oh my gosh I am sor-" she began when she looked up to see this tall man that had tan skin and really strong built with the sexiest arms ever, she looked further up to his face and saw the most beautiful green eyes that she just melted in. She didn't realize she was staring and checking him out until the guy interrupted her thoughts saying:

"Hi," he said smiling he realized that Jennifer was checking him out. Jennifer snapped out of her daze and said 'Hi'. She looked up at him and extended her hand and said:

"Jennifer. You?" he shook her hand and said, "Alex".

"Nice to meet you Alex. Sorry about crashing into you." He laughed again and Jennifer got this feeling in her stomach almost as if it was butterflies. They parted ways and she continued running still thinking about this guy and the butterflies she felt.

The next day she was sitting in her office. She was a lawyer, a divorce lawyer to be specific. Jennifer usually handles cases that involve children. When she walked into the office that day she had a new client coming in. A divorce including two young girls. She didn't really have time to read up on the case all she knew was that they were trying to achieve joint custody with child support being paid.

Her assistant and her best friend Leah came and knocked on her office door to tell her that her clients were here. She told her to let them in. A few minutes passed and in walks in a beautiful tall woman with long blonde hair she walked in with two girls one taller than the other. One of the girls had dirty blonde hair and the other little girl had dark brown hair. Behind the woman walked in a tall man in a nice tailored navy blue suit. She looked up and saw him, it was him, the guy from the park him. She paused when she recognized him and she saw that he recognized her, but it was a quick pause before she introduced herself to both adults and then bent down to the girls' level and she spoke to them.

"Hi girls! My name is Jennifer, what is your name?" she asked the girls.

The girl with dirty blonde hair answered saying: "Ella" and the girl with dark brown hair answered saying: "Natasha, but my mom and dad call me Tashi."

"Well, Hi Tashi and Ella. I have to speak with your mommy and daddy you want to come with me to where I have toys you can play with. You want to?" both girls shook their head 'Yes' she guided the girls over to where they were and then she got up and walked over to where the woman and Alex were. They were sitting in chairs in front of her desk. When she got to her desk she extended her hand out and introduced herself again.

"Hi, I am Jennifer Lopez." The blonde woman extends her hand as well and says: "Hi, I'm Cynthia." She then looks over at Alex knowing who he was, but waits for him to introduce himself, " Hi, I'm Alex".

The rest of their meeting went according to plan and it ended right around Jennifer's usual lunchtime. She went out to get some lunch at a nearby café. She walked into the café and got up to the front and ordered some food and an iced coffee.

As she was waiting for her meal someone walked behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around looked at the person who tapped her on the shoulder when she looked up it was Alex.

"Hey," Jennifer said.

"Hi, Jennifer," Alex said.

"So how are you doing?" Jennifer said. There was an awkward tension between the two, Jennifer felt those same butterflies she had been feeling before.

"I'm good." She said.

"You are having lunch?" He asked.

"Yeah I am, I usually eat in my office, I was thinking of eating here today," she said.

"Well mind if I joined you?" he asked. Jennifer took an inaudible deep breath and said: "Sure". Jennifer was eating her lunch when Alex broke their silence,

"So you run in the park all that time?" he said taking a sip out of his coffee.

"Yeah, I usually do."

"You're quite a runner" she laughed.

"So you're Alex Rodriguez a Yankee huh?" she smirked.

"So you do know who I am" he bantered.

"Yeah, I do. I am a New York girl; how wouldn't I know a Yankee player" she laughed.

"Uh-huh."

"What?" she giggled.

"Nothing. Nothing just seems like you're lying." Jennifer laughed. "What? I am a professional I know how to act professionally."

"Your daughters are adorable," she said.

"Thank You. They are the best things ever" he said.

"Yeah. Kids are the best" she smiled.

"You have kids?" he asked.

"No I don't, but I have a niece and nephews" she smiled.

"You have a pretty smile," he said. She blushed and had to cover her face. Alex reached forward and moved her hand from her face and placed his hand on her cheek and moved her hair to the side.

"No don't. You're beautiful." She smiled.

"Alex...no I'm your lawyer." She protested.

Jennifer finished eating her food and then gathered her stuff she got up and Alex followed her out the door to the back door where the cars were parked. Jennifer was trying to leave the situation as quickly as possible and was walking as fast as she possibly could when Alex managed to pull her arm aside and grabbed her by putting his arm on her waist and leaned down and crashed his lips onto hers. She reciprocated the kiss and it felt like she was supposed to wait for him. For this person. As they were kissing snow started falling from the sky. Tiny snowflakes landed on her hair and it felt as if it was a sign that this was meant to be, but dating her client. Is that wrong?
