The snow falling across the New York Day and the smell of pine wafting through the air. The trees decorating in bright lights and bright colored ornaments as the Christmas spirit lives among the New York residents.

Jennifer walked shut the door as the freezing snow blasted through the door. She was greeted by a very excited Lady at the door. She was ready to decorate her apartment to make it look like a Christmas store threw up in her apartment. To say that Christmas was Jennifer's favorite holiday was an understatement.

There was a knock on Jennifer's door as she was pulling out her famous chocolate chip cookies. Well, they weren't really famous, but she likes to say they were. She ran quickly to open the door for Alex.

"Hi," she said enthusiastically as came in and kissed her lips. Lady had grown fond of Alex as well as she came eagerly and greeted him with some kisses.

"It smells so good in here," he said.

"Yes. Those are my famous chocolate chip cookies." She said smiling

"Famous huh? Are they really famous" he asked.

Jennifer gasped and laughed "Yes they are!"

"Are you ready to help me decorate?" Jennifer asked.

"Well is all we're doing is decorating?" Alex asked.

Jennifer got close to Alex and whispered in his ear, "I don't know is there something you had in mind?" Jennifer questioned.

"I mean...there are one or two things I may be thinking about that include you in bed..." he turned around to the other side of her face and whispered in her other ear, "...naked."

Jennifer swatted his chest and laughed. Jennifer had her fake Christmas tree that she put up on a yearly basis. She had given up on putting up a real tree ever since she got Lady. It was too much of a mess and she couldn't try to take care of a puppy who was only trying to eat the pine needles. She had boxes piled up with lights and ornaments.

Jennifer turned on the stereo and put on some Christmas music as she was heating up some milk for some hot cocoa. Alex started opening up the boxes and separating the lights as Jennifer walked over to him and handed him his cup of hot cocoa.

"So are you going to Miami with the girls for the holidays?" Jennifer asked.

"No, Cynthia is actually coming here," he said.

"Oh. Okay." Jennifer said.

"What about you?" he asked.

"Well, my family is coming here. I always host Christmas in my house" she said.

"So am I going to see you for Christmas?" Alex asked.

"I mean I was hoping we would and for New Years too. Do you want to pass by my house for New Year's?" she asked.

"Yes," he said smiling. "You are going to introduce me to your family?" he asked.

"Of course why would I hide you," she said smiling.

Ah, Christmas. The best day out of the entire year. Well besides Jennifer's birthday. It was Christmas morning and Jennifer's family was in town. After a long night of dancing and eating. Her entire family kept the tradition alive and had a giant sleepover at Jennifer's penthouse. The family arose to Jennifer's mom making her famous Christmas day breakfast.

Jennifer woke up and came to the table where her mother placed down a plate of breakfast in front of her.

"Here you go, baby." Jennifer's mother said.
