I woke up luckly on time today. I found an apartment in a nice part of the city which would be an estimate of a 10 to 15 minutes drive to where I'm applying to for a job drive ...so, yeah that's where I'm living.

After taking my bath, I found out my fridge was empty and I hadn't even started making money I was already spending it on much stuff..great!(note the sarcasm) I guess this time I'll have to use the money my parents send me to stock my fridge.

On my way out I found a cafè and was eating there.

My first interview is by 7.30 and it's 7.26... wait its 7.26 oh gosh. I sent a polite smile to the guy at the counter carried my food and ran to the company.

"Good day Miss Chesterfield, go right this way" A polite lady told me.
I nodded and took a seat trying to finsh my breakfast until everything was smacked right out of my hand.
"Who allowed this pig into my company?" A handsome man asked. No one answered.

Looking at me with disdain he said "You are useless and I don't see how you can be of any use in my company".Then he ordered the security to throw me out.

But before they approached me I snapped out of my shocked state and spat the food I chewed on him."I might be useless but your brain is more".

Everyone was shocked and with a smirk I stood up to make my way to the elevator that will take me to the ground floor but feeling scared inside that the security would throw me out, when I saw none coming, I walked out in what I felt was majestical adding a little swing to my sway if you know what I mean feeling badass. When I reached the elevator I pressed the button and turned round to see if anyone was still watching me but I felt disappointed when I saw the boss was already inside his office and majority were back to their businesses leaving a few to watch my little show. I felt like laughing at myself, I didn't let that bring me down instead it hyped me up the more because that was a moment in my life o won't forget but I decided to take it easy so as not to get into trouble cause these guys were rich and I didn't know if they were more powerful than my parents incase I needed bailing.

I was about to go to my last interview. In the second one the people there were like robots and that was really wierd to the extent that I was relieved when I didn't get the job.

I just hope that I would get it here.

As people were coming out I saw them in tears, some acted mad and the list keeps going on. "Miss Chesterfield" I took that as my cue and went inside smiling.

"What's your reason for choosing to walk into my office smiling when you saw the attitude of those who came in here before you?".

The man asked in an intimidating manner.I must give it to him he reminds me of my dad when I get to see him at times having a meeting in his study. If you're wondering how I know I love to hide there at times and I loved the art of negotiation when it comes to business so I use that time to learn some skills when I'm to start mine.

"I'm impressed"is what I said .

"Why?"he asked.

" 'Cause you sure are really good at intimidating people. I'll give that to you".

With the look on his face,I could tell he was shocked but covered it up and said "That is not why you're here, to be impressed by me but vice versa. So" he asked in a more calm tone " what makes you think that you're outstanding and I should pick you out of others when you clearly have no experience in any job whatsoever and I believe that you graduated from high school almost a year ago but you decided to take a year off instead of going to college and try baking ? I'm quite curious, sell yourself".
He got it wrong about the taking a year off part to learn baking. Even though I don't regret doing that what happened was that my mom's schedule was really busy and my dad couldn't keep an eye on me, yeah though I was eighteen but I never complained so I had to travel with her on her meetings within and outside the country. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed the travels because I did a little bonding with my mom's, I got to see new places, new people, I even met some of her associates when she agreed to let me attend a meeting. As you already know I have a thing for business and I loved travelling but unfortunately I had to sacrifice the chance of attending college on time so by the time the business travel with my mom was over I couldn't stay home doing nothing so I decided to learn something before I get bored out of my mind. I had to grovel, beg my mom to allow me to attend the baking school because it was about a 30 minute drive from home and finally she agreed after speaking with my dad. The agreement was after that year I would reapply to universities and I was happy with the plan.

After the interview I was feeling jittery but I had to mask it with confidence if I really wanted this job.
I've been waiting for his reply for about five minutes before he asked this question and to say I was caught off guard was no lie "Miss Chesterfield how old are you and where did you get the power of speech from?".
"Sir I'm nineteen years about to be twenty and in high school I loved English as a subject plus I used to write articles at times I go to a radio station to around where I lived and present. It was a form of release because no one knew...." I paused realising I was about to say something I'm not meant to but I tried to continue by dodging the truth " I was meant to be all prim and proper but behind the closed doors of that station I expressed myself without feeling conscious" cause I'm the kind to mostly keep to myself I didn't bother adding.
I looked up and realised I just blabbered but he stopped me by saying" Enough although I believe I didn't ask for your life story, you seem to have potential" I little up at those words crossing my fingers then smirking he said"You are so hired, welcome to Audrey's Inc."

Then I jumped up from my sit and hugged him saying"You won't regret your decision" "Then he laughed and said"I hope not but do yourself a favour and don't try to incase my personal space okay dear?". He said it nicely and I just nodded.

I walked out of there like I owned the world. I knew deep down that the best was yet to come and I honestly hoped so. I guess it's time to celebrate with a bucket of ice cream, chicken wings and an outdoor movie. Incase you were expecting me to say alcohol I really don't like the taste and I'm alone, I'm definitely not taking risks in a city I'm new to. Lone celebration time here I come.
