It's time for the dinner and I the almighty Drey is nervous. God, it has been long since I had a dinner with a sane lady others are either trying to get some or they are trying to see my friends like who does that or even for them to get public attention for their products.

After all these mishaps, I have sworn off any woman who wears a dress that shows her cleavage and is too short to know the colour of her pant that is if she is wearing any. That is how all of them appear so they can seduce me . I know I am a man an normally I should be turned on but trying that hard for a guy by putting everything on display is a huge turn off.

I know that this sounds clichè and might make you want to roll your eyes but ever since I met her, I found my whole being trying to get attached to her like literally but in this messed up situation how do I make my feelings are sincere without the guilt eating me.

Okay conscience what I'm doing now is not right, I know but I can argue with you later.

Immediately I turned around, a view that will stick to my memory like alcohol scent on a drunkard was Melissa.

Damn, with a figure like that even an hourglass can be put to shame and that dress, oh! that dress it is really pretty but if I get a chance to see the skin underneath I wouldn't mind tearing it off. And that smile, the sexy one that goes with those killer attractive eyes.

God when did me your son get such pervy thoughts?. My hormones urging to be let out for action and my rational and sane state of mind begging to be totally lost so I can have my way with her but that was when my conscience decided to kick in and put my dark thoughts way way behind so I can think clearly but when she finally spoke, I think my conscience gave up on its mission.

"Mr.Audrey, fancy having a dinner with you and by the way your house is very magnificent. Never seen a tbing like it before."she said while trying to seem confident but I know she is fighting off a blush.

"Why thank you madmoisselle. Let's go and have dinner shall we?".

When we reached the terrace on the first floor btw my house is a in a sky scrapper and I own three floors. One is on the fifth to last floor, second is on the 24th floor and the one we're in is top floor.

From there you can see a very mesmerizing view of the city and soft music was being played by my home theatre and well... nothing else.

We sat down looking at each other and smiling, making stupid short comments like very nice shoes you put on or I like your pants.
I think she got tired of waiting and then asked"Well sir where is dinner?''.

"Call me Drey for the night and about the dinner, it's alrady prepared. I was just waiting for you to ask''. so I can hear your sweet voice once more before going but no I'm not gonna say it out loud.
We ate in silence and after that we watched a movie. As we were watching the movie a heavy rain started and all the lights started flickering so I requested that the lights on all my floors should be turned off.
I had to turn on the rechargeable lanterns for the dark is not what creeps me out but what is in it.
''So since the world is against me going home I guess I'll stay for the night'' she said.
''I dont have any women night wear but I believe you can sleep in your underwear''.
''I cant believe you right now. I'm really cold thanks for not caring man. I'm sorry for raising my voice but can you please lend me a hoodie and your shorts but not briefs please I dont want anything that that touched that little things of yours to touch mine''.
''Excuse me, lemme tell you something. You can insult anything about me except from my family and manly pride and have you know it is way bigger than your....... emm....... ..uhhhh''.

''What's the problem, Drey? Are you short of a smart comeback? Now this was a day that I thought would never come''.she said chuckling.

''You know I don't have time for useless babbling. Come and take a hoodie and shorts''.

She silently followed me upstairs.
I reached out for a turquoise hoodie and black shorts.

''Before I give this to you, you have to answer my daily riddles and give me my joke''.

She just glared at me and snatched the clothes out of my hand''Maybe I'll be your jester tomorrow but please let me just sleep''.

''Okay. Night''.

''Night''.

I couldn't sleep knowing she was next door so I started playing some game I downloaded. I got bored and reached out for a romance novel and started reading. As I was about to read the interesting part, my door knob twisted and in came Melissa.

''What do you want?''

''I know this is too far but I just need to stay with someone 'cause I'm not always able to sleep when it's raining like crazy''.

''So what do you normally do?'' I asked.

''My best friend likes knowing about what the weather will look like so when it will rain that day he'll always come over and baby me to sleep''.

''Name''

''Huh, I dont get''.

''Name of your best friend''

''Oh, his name is Adrien''.

''A he? Well I hope you're not trying to use me as a replacement for your dear Andrew''. I know that I'm sounding ridiculous but... okay I have no excuse just wanted to see her loose her cool.

''Adrien''

''Huh?''

''His name is Adrien not Andrew. Stop whinning like a female dog and just tell me if you can let me sleep here for the night''.

''Oh no,you didn't just call me bitch''

''Hufffffff'' she sighed exhausted with bantering with me ''my deepest apologies I guess that's your way of saying no let me just find my way home maybe the taxi driver will give me the comfort I need''. She sighed over dramatically and turned to leave.

''Wait Melissa, I'm sorry. Please come and stay. I need comfort too''. I mentally slapped myself after realising what I just said.

She came over and laid down, I dropped my book and we both cuddled.

''This was the best date ever. Thank you''. She said sincerely and I couldn't help looking into her eyes.

''You're welcome and again I'm sorry''.

''Dont worry and by the way nice romance novel''. She commented giggling.

Before I could defend myself she said ''Don't worry, I find it cute and dont forget to remove your braces. You look really handsome and cute and dorky at the same time''.

''Yes ma'am'' and we both laughed. These are the moments I lived for just being yourself dnd not bothering 'cause the person beside you think you're amazing no matter how stupid you look.

''Can't sleep yet?'' She asked. I just nodded.

''Let me sing for you''.

She sang 'All of the stars' by Ed Sheeran and my oh my was her voice melodic but groggy because she was feeling sleepy. I soon drifted off into sleep but I felt her peck my forehead and cuddle me all the more.

I slept with a huge smile on my face till the next morning another drama commenced.
