A/N: hey guys, I'm so sorry about this unannounced and unprepared for hiatus. School has been a downer, and the fact that writers block exists isn't helping. I just want to give a big thanks to all of the people who have stuck around, and gave support to this work. I'm not completely sure how this story will go because I'm a straight ahead writer and plan for nothing. But what you can expect is, angst, ✨gay✨, fluff, lots of wanting to literally murder ozai, 💫gay💫, more detailed writing, piningTM, drama, and more of the gaang.

I don't know how long this will be, but thank you so much for 2k reads! I cannot thank you enough! For this occasion I will be doing a q+a, you can ask me questions, characters questions, and questions about the story. I love and appreciate feedback and comments so please, tell me anything I could improve on, and your questions! Now onto the story.

He was ecstatic, this was one of the few times that he was able to go to the park and play like a normal twelve year old kid. Of course, his father couldn't come, so he squirmed happily in the nook. Azula on the other hand was perfectly content with her two companions. Her attitude was very much opposed to Zukos. Well, it always had been.

"You know zuzu, I don't see why you're so excited to hang out with, Well garbage. You know we are much better than cheap plastic playhouses right? I mean truly, wouldn't you want to be in our lavish home?" Azula stated not looking up from her book.

"Well what would you know! Your friends don't even like you." He said whispering the end. "And aren't you excited to see uncle Iroh?"

"Well considering that he's fat and old no." She said deadpanning as one of their butlers brought over a platter of fruit.

"That's not true! Uncle Iroh is the best! And there he is now." He replied slightly yelling, as he jumped up to the large window.

The old rickety car stook out from the rich estate. Beautifully cut gardens and large ponds, with gorgeous miniature buildings on the sides of the mansion had always been quite striking to anyone who came near. Quite curiously Iroh never took advantage of his family's great wealth. Of course, ever since the incident he had cut himself off from his pennyful counterpart. He took pride in his average life, there was nothing about their life that he wanted. The servants, house, and overall way of living seemed unconventional to Iroh. He had everything he needed in his small apartment in the city. The car pulled up with a ricketness to it, as it always had every two months when the children were allowed access to the city.

Ursa stepped lightly up to the two children, accounting for anything they would need. Checking that they had a first aid kit and coats for the weather, she was not taking chances with her son. Zuko clung to her long fluffy coat as Azula walked beside her. A soft tapping sound could be heard in the large house as they walked down the grand staircase. The tapping was almost comforting to Zuko. Tip Tap TipTap, the clicking of his mother's shoes never ceased to sooth him. Just as her soft voice never failed to warm his heart. Or the swish of her dark hair was always heard, well he heard it at least. Nonetheless they made it to the outer walls of the house, Zuko bubbling with excitement.

"Uncle!" The small boy charged at the soft man giving him as big a hug as his tiny arms would let him.

"Uncle." Azula said trailing behind with Ursa.

"Hello Iroh, Thank you for picking up the children. You'll be returning by eight yes?"

"Of course, we always do." Iroh started looking down at Zuko.
