San

We walk home quietly as I am linking my arm with Wooyoungie. I am happy to have his arm wrapped around mine. I watch him blush as I do, which makes me smile. Though our peace can't stay forever.

I can hear someone coming close to us, and I pull back a bit, letting go of Wooyoungie. He seems confused, but keeps moving forward, as I pull my bag off my shoulder. I stay towards the back as I hear them getting closer.

There are a few people who walk by us, not caring, but I can feel something is off. Other than the ones who passed us I only see the four of us.

"What's wrong San hyung?" Jongho asks as he looks back at me.

"Keep moving, something isn't right, but stopping would be bad." I tell them as I motion them to keep moving, touching the small off Wooyoungie's back.

Wooyoung

I feel as San puts his hand on my back and I keep moving, noticing that nobody is around. We keep moving and I can feel someone is close by. I get a bit closer to San and he slides his arm around me, which calms me.

By time we get home all of us are on edge, hoping that whatever it was, isn't wanting us in particular. I sigh as we get back to our dorms.

"You boys okay?" HongJoong hyung asks as we get in, San looking out the door as he shuts it.

"No, I think something was following us." Yeosang says as he pulls out a small charm from around his neck. "It's been buzzing since we left the restaurant."

This charm glows or buzzes when demons are close, though sometimes it gives off a faint glow when nobody is around. It gets passed around between some of us, but San, HongJoong and Jongho don't tend to wear it much, if ever.

"How much?" SeongHwa hyung asks and Yeosangie just shakes his head.

"Not much, but enough to be alarming. San also noticed something was off."

"Yeah, they had cleared the area, so I figured we should just keep moving. Whoever it was wanted that area cleared." San says as he sits at the dining room table.

"Yeah, after seeing a couple leave the area it was just the four of us. It was strange." I put in. Everyone seems to take this in, and we can tell the charm isn't buzzing anymore, so we brush it off for now.

"For now, we don't know what they want, but we can go out after practice to check the area." HongJoong tells us as we get ready to practice our training.

HongJoong

I sit down and study my books with SeongHwa, we are trying to memorize ways to keep spirits at bay. I sigh as I lay my head down on the book.

"Trying to absorb the knowledge again?" Hwa teases and I just groan.

"I don't want to learn right now... I'm tired and just want to sleep." I say and he chuckles, rubbing my back as he reads.

"When we come back tonight you can sleep."

I nod and sigh as we hear the boys yelling about something. I stand up, walking to them, Hwa following behind. I walk in and see Mingi talking with San and Jongho, but Jongho looks annoyed.

"Oh come on, you're a witch, why can't you make another charm?" Jongho practically yells.

"Woah, woah, woah. What's going on?" Hwa says as he goes between them.

"Look, just because I am a witch, doesn't mean I know how to make those charms... I actually didn't get all my training done, most of it was through books." San says, looking down at a book in his hand about shielding runes, and spells.

"Wait, if witches can make them why don't we go find another one?" Yunho asks.

"Most witches won't do these, or can't." San says, looking at us. "The witches you're wanting to talk to are not usually the happy fun kind."

I sigh and start to think of what we can do next and see Wooyoung go over to San, squeezing his shoulder. His touch seems to calm him, but I stand up heading to a bag of our hunting gear.

"It seems like just sitting here and not doing anything isn't helping. Why don't we go out and look for the thing that was following you?" I ask, grabbing my go bag. We all have one, it has nondescript clothes, hats, masks, and a bit of everything so we can hunt. It also has mics and earpieces for us to keep connected.

"Alright, let's go." San says, grabbing his bag, shaking off Wooyoung's hand.
