Chapter 10 Ready Up

Yunho

         I wake up after our day of packing, ready to get a few things done before we head out tomorrow. I head out of my room, seeing that everyone is already awake and having breakfast. HongJoong is on the phone with someone and he seems a bit concerned.

         "Yeah, yeah. Okay, we can check it out." he says and hangs up the phone.

         "What was that about hyung?" I ask and he just sighs.

         "Apparently, while we are going to shoot the videos we need to check for Gwishin in the area. There are stories of one or more being around the area where we are filming for Thanxx. We are going to go there to see if we can take care of it. Then we can film when we are done, even if it pushes shooting back a bit." he explains. Gwishin, or ghosts, are kind of annoying sometimes.

         Usually we can get rid of them if they are attached to a person, but a place is a bit harder. Everyone finishes their food and goes to pack another bag, our bags we take on our hunting jobs.

         "Hey, I guess this means our fun time is going to be cut down a bit..." Mingi says from behind me as I am packing my bag. I chuckle as I put my rosary, rock salt, and holy water in my bag.

         "Yeah, but maybe I can talk to Jongho about switching for a night." I say, chuckling as he touches my hips. I turn around and give him a boop to the nose.

         "Alright, I hope he says yes." he says and I just laugh. I close up my bag and put it with the others, ready to go for tomorrow.

Jongho

         Sitting with Yeosang I am happy that he is holding my hand again. I have my right hand on my knee, and he has his hand on mine. I am smiling and wrap my left arm around his shoulders, and I can feel him lean into me.

         "So, we are going to be roommates in the hotel... " he says while we watch TV.

         "Yeah, Mingi was making a fuss about wanting to room with Yunho," I say, laughing and he smiles.

         "Yeah, and what do you think about it? Being roomed with me?" he asks and I look at him, a bit shocked.

         "I like it, I think it will be nice."

         "Really?"

         I nod and can feel my face getting hot as I turn back to watch our show. I hear him chuckle and he plays with my hand for a bit, which makes my stomach fill with butterflies.

         While he is watching our show I look over at him, and am still stunned by his looks. Even in this lighting he looks like a prince. I turn back when I see a twitch of a smile on his face. Did he see? Oh god, he saw me staring didn't he? I think and nervously watch the rest of the episode in silence.

         After the episode is done I hear that Yeosang is hungry, his stomach growling. I laugh and head to the kitchen, starting to cook up some chicken. Before long I have fried chicken done and on the table for us to eat. I call everyone to our lunch and I see that our hyungs are holding hands.

         I smile while everyone sits down as I hand out plates and silverware. I watch everyone take their seats, and there is a spot open for me to sit with Yeosang, across from Mingi.

         As we eat I am looking up information on the area we are going to shoot. There seem to be many claims of Gwishin, in the area. Nobody seems to know why they are there, which makes my job harder as one of the researchers.

         Joongie hands me some more food, and I smile at him. He knows how hard I try to prepare us for hunts, and he always puts my health first. I put a hand on his knee while I keep reading between bites.

         "So, what is the plan so far?" Joongie asks and I sigh.

         "Well, we need to find the source, and reason that this spirit or spirits are stuck. I can't seem to find anything, but while we are there we might find something." I say and everyone seems a bit concerned.

         "Who is going with you to scout then?" Jongho asks, which makes me look up. It's a good idea to scout ahead in a small group first, make sure we know the layout and maybe even see if there are any clues we can get from the area.

         "I'll go, Wooyoung and Jongho will come too... Hwa you stay with the others and I will take Yeosang with us in your place." Joongie says looking at me. I nod and sigh, I'm not good in fights, at least Yeosang can fight enough to be a tracker.

         "Take notes while you're there, and pictures if you can." I say and they all nod. I smile and we finish our food, using that night to prepare for the next day's ride and a hike.
