Chapter 7 A Flag

Yunho

         After doing our photos we go to the room we are going to do the dance preview in. Mingi and I mess around as they get the lighting set up. We dance and make the others laugh.

         "Alright, why don't you kids do a practice run?" our director says, and everyone gets together. We do a practice run so they can see where the camera can go without messing with us, everyone is excited.

         After practicing with the cameras a few times we shoot the video. It takes 4 takes with everyone dancing around us with the cameras. Once we finish we go over to see what it all looks like.

         "Alright boys, I think we got this. Now we get to have you change and get ready to shoot Thanxx." our PD (producer) says, and everyone is excited.

         I head to change with Mingi and he is hugging me as we get to the room. I laugh as he jumps to get changed.

         "God, you are adorable when you want to be," I say and he comes back over.

         "Did you want me to do something else?" he asks, tilting his head. I chuckle and he kisses me gently, which makes me smile, but I pull away.

         "Not while at work," I laugh and he just smiles as I blush. I watch as he goes over to the makeshift changing room and I sigh. He always makes me blush when he touches me, but it's worse when he kisses me. I touch my cheeks as I try to calm down, waiting to go change next.

         "Yun, you can come and change with me you know." he says from behind the curtain. I sigh and go in with him, clothes in hand, and blush when I see his abs. I look up and he laughs.

         "Don't laugh at me. Jerk, you know what that does to me." I say, turning away and changing quickly. I feel him wrap his arms around me and I can't help but turn around to kiss him, making out with him.

         "I know, why do you think I do it?" he asks, his voice deep and husky as he looks at me.

         "Right now is a bad time, you know they'll come looking for us." I say, trying to get myself to calm down before things go too far. He sighs and we separate, changing quickly and cleaning up before heading down to the others.

         I come back down in my outfit for Thanxx and am excited to do the preview video. I see Woo in his little ponytail and it makes me chuckle. It's cute on him, and makes him have a unique look that fits him well.

         "Hey San-ah," he says and we walk over to wait for Yunho and Mingi. When they do come down I can tell something happened, since they go to the makeup artists and get their lips touched up.

         "Seems you two had fun," I laugh and Mingi has a bit of a pout, while Yunho just shakes his head.

         "Let's do some practice runs." our PD says and we all get into place, going in the same process as we had with Inception. After a few takes we get sent to change again for pictures.

         I head to get my makeup done and am happy to have my own input added to my look. We go to get our group pics done before I go back to my chair.

         "What did you want touched up, San?" my makeup artist asks me. She is a very sweet woman and I look at her with a grin.

         "Can you make a rainbow flag on my ear?" I ask, and she gives me a smile. She was terrified a while ago, when I asked why she told me that she's gay, and thought I would be upset. I wasn't, and she has been happy to work with us since.

         "Of course," she says, seeming excited and happy. I laugh and sit still for her as she paints my ear. "So, is this a statement?"

         I am silent as she pulls back and looks at me, I nod and she grins. I laugh and she finishes the small flag.

         "I didn't know when or how to say it... I hope this is obvious enough, and also subtle enough." I say and she laughs. I told her a while ago that I like guys, but she didn't quite believe me, since she thought I was saying that to console her after she came out to me.

          "Well, even if nobody gets it, LGBT+ will be happy to have you as an advocate." she says as she puts the finishing touches on. "Done."

         She lets me look in the mirror and I am happy, excited even. I hug her and she just laughs. I run to get my other pictures done after thanking her. I stop just short of hitting Woo, and hug him in the process so I stop. He just laughs and turns around hugging back.

         "What's got you running?" he asks and I point to my ear, smiling as I do. He seems confused for a moment, but before I can talk to him I get called to do my pictures. I smile and run to the photographer, who notices my ear and seems excited by it too.

         I get a lot of good photos with my pride ear, and am excited as I see the pictures back. Wooyoung and I choose the same picture as our favorites and the photographer says he'll keep it in mind when he chooses for the books.
