We arrived in Washington around midnight, we picked the first hotel or motel, I don't know, we saw along the way. We're all dead tired because of the long ride, whatever given to us by the receptionist, we gladly accepted it. However, there's only two rooms left, either 2 single beds or a double bed. But we are six. Two people will be sleeping in an extra mattress. Hahaha! What a shame. Of course, it will not be me. So, the five are arguing who will be those two lucky individuals.
The ending, it was Lance and Chris, they loss to Rock, Paper, Scissor. But the unluckiest person will be me. Matt and Bern will take the 2 single beds, Chris to share with them. While I will share with Aeon the double bed, and Lance to take the extra mattress. I already volunteered to swap places with Lance or Chris, but they refused.
Is Faith really playing with us? It's not the hard bed that makes me uncomfortable, but the double bed is too small for the two of us. No matter how I avoid him, our skin will touch with each other. Lance must be really tired, he was able to sleep immediately. I tried to just close my eyes, prayed silently that I can endure everything until I fall into sleep. I don't know if I was dreaming, I heard his voice saying a Good night to me, and a soft kiss to my forehead.
A heavy arm is again on top of my torso, helps to stir me up from my sleep. It was around seven in the morning, I can hear a loud snore from Lance, while the person beside me is also into a deep sleep. His face is already touching my face, I can hear his soft breaths. As I tried to move him, the tighter is his embrace. I know Aeon is a light sleeper.
Love, it's still early. Please, let's sleep.
Here we go again. He used to call me Love or My queen before, but being sleepy never justify his actions. I didn't respond to him, not wanting to wake Lance, not wanting to acknowledge Aeon so I laid still, until I doze off again.
An hour after, Lance was already awake, still in his bed but texting. Aeon also, he's watching me, and smiled as soon as I opened my eyes, earning a scowl from me. He kissed me in the lips to tease me, and sheepishly laugh as if he didn't do anything wrong.
The two of you, you know, I'm here right? Lance warned.
I just sigh at Aeon. I will never find my share of peace when I'm always with him.
You know, your cute when you scowl like that.
I didn't answer him, and pretended to be deaf.
Huh! Too hot in here. Please excuse me guys, I'll just transfer to the other room. Then Lance left.
Awkward. But the person beside me just laugh so hard, like a crazy mad man.
Good morning My Queen. He's really getting on my nerves.
I tried to get up, but he's strong arms pulled me back to bed and trap me once again in his arms.
Nope, you cannot escape me this time Celine.
Aeon, please move. Softly, I tried to beg.
Let's stay like this. You really like my embrace before, right? I know you missed it.
No, I'm not going to answer you, at least don't show any emotion.
I hate to admit it but I really miss you Celine.
I'm just listening to him, and tried to avoid his eyes. So, he lay down on top of me and face me. What is he doing? If Lance or the others will see us like this, this will be embarrassing.
Sorry Celine. Then he kissed me again.
I'm trying hard to resist him. That kiss in the engagement was a big mistake, and I'm not going to give in again. This time his kisses are tender, soft and not imposing. It's like a warm, feathery kisses, not asking for permission but only wants to be feel. He's eyes has a lot to say, a lot of emotions to express. It's only a short kiss, maybe five to ten minutes but it seems like forever.
