She had fallen asleep on the bed she woke up when she hear knocking on the door. She stood up and walked over to it. She opened the door. She was surprised. It was Lando. 'Hi.' He said.
'Hi.' He saw the look on her face that something was wrong. 'You okay?' He asked. 'I feel horrible to be honest.' She said. 'What happend.' He asked. 'I got stalked by I think it was an American. And yea. I found that terrifying but he got arrested.' She said keeping the story short.
'Oh.' He said. 'But I'm fine. He didn't hurt me. Luckily.' She said. He smiled.
'You want to come in?' She asked. 'Yes, that would be nice of you.' He said. She nodded, 'Come in then.' She said. And closed the door behind him. 'So how did the practice go?' She asked.
'If was difficult at first because, We have never drove on this circuit. Except for a few.' He said.
He sat down on the wooden chair. 'How did you find me?' She asked.
'You left the poster of the hotel in my room.' He said. She was confused. 'Oh I'm sorry.' She said.
'It's fine.' He said. 'So...' He said.
'I know you and I just met .' He said. 'But do you want to go with me tomorrow?' He asked.
'Okay.' She said. 'Thank you.' He said.
'For what. For going with me.' He said. 'So... what now?' She asked. 'You want to go on a drive through Haarlem?' He asked. 'Then on our way back we can grab something to eat.' He said.
'You're being too nice to me.' She said.
'I'm a nice person.' He said with a smirk on his face.
He led her to the parked McLaren on the parking lot. 'How do you get this car when you're in the Netherlands?' She asked. He smiled. 'The boat.' He said. He opened the car door for her and she got in. The car was low. Lando closed the door and walked around to the driver side he then got behind the wheel. And started the engine. He then drove off.
They talked for a while, he really made her feel better. They stopped by a cafe and ate something then they drove back to her hotel room. He parked the car underneath the camera. And then brought her back to her room.
'Thank you.' She said. 'Your welcome.' Lando answered.
'So I'll pick you up at 8 am.' He said.
'That's early.' She said. 'Yeah I know.' He said.
'See you tomorrow.'
