The next day she didn't come out of bed. There were only a few days left before F1 would come to Austin so. She was getting bored. And then she decided to get out of bed and get dressed. She looked on her phone realising it's already 2pm. She felt lazy. She heard knocking on her door. Immediately her morning vibe dropped into getting grumpy. If Charles was irritating her again she would really hurt him. As she opened the door. She realised that it wasn't Charles but Lando. He hugged her before she could say something. She was surprised. He then let go of her and he then looked at his phone then back at her. He pointed at her with his phone. 'I found your video.' He said. She laughed. 'Oh god.' She said. He then put his phone in his pocket.  'I thought you were home.' She said.
'I was getting bored.' He said with a smile. She smiled back at him. 'You want to enter?'
He nodded, he got in and she closed the door. He looked around. 'Cozy.' He said. He sat down on the bed. 'I haven't told Charles I would be here early.' He said. She sat down next to hem and smirked. 'He'll find out soon.'
Lando cocked his head. 'Why is that?'
'Any seconds now.' She said. And then the door opened. 'So I have already kidnapped the sandwich so you'll get a donu-' Charles didn't finish his sentence. As he noticed Lando was here. 'Hey Lando.' He said. He threw the paper bag with a donut on the table. 'You are early.' He said. 'How did he come in here?' Lando asked as he shit her a gaze. 'There's a door that is connected to two hotel rooms.' She said.
'Like a hospital?' He asked. 'Yep.' She said. Charles took his phone out his pocket. 'So me and my girlfriend decided to go to a haunted house. And now because Lando is here. You are going with us.' He said.
'Oh god.' Lando said.
Charles looked on his watch. 'We go at 8:30 pm. When it's dark.' Charles said. And then happily went to the ther room. 'I got the tickets!' He yelled before closing gone door. When Charles was gone they both looked at each other. 'You like haunted houses?' He asked. She shook her head. 'Nope.' She said. 'Me too.' He said.
'Why don't we go outside and go explore the streets maybe Charles can't find us.' She said.
'Good idea.' He said. They got up and she grabbed her jacket. Lando already stood by the door. When she came he opened the door. And they entered the hallway. They took the stairs. And then they were out of the building.
They both walked on the sidewalk. 'So how was your flight?' He asked. He held his hands in his pockets as he walked.
'Ehmm boring.' She said. He laughed. 'Yeah 12 hour flight. Is pretty boring.' He said.
'Yep.' They passed by some dining places. 'You want to drink and eat something?' He asked.
'Sure.' She said. They stopped at a sandwiches and grill restaurant. Lando wanted to eat outside. So they sat on the terrace. She looked at the menu. 'What are you going to eat?' She asked.
Lando leaned over the menu. 'Hmmmm... I'll take the smoky turkey sandwich with salad.' He said.
'I take the vegetarian version.' She said. 'You eat vegetarian?' He asked. 'Yep. I mean it tastes the same so why not try ?' She asked. 'Okay. I do the same then.' He said. 'You sure?' She asked.
'Yep I trust you.' He said. She smiled. The waitress came and took there orders. 'Got it. It will be done in 15 minutes.' She said. She said and then went inside. Lando smiled. 'It's nice today.' He said as he looked around. 'Yeah.' She said.
They got their drinks and then their food. Lando liked it. So did she.
When they were done. Lando payed and then they walked further. She thanked him. 'Finally one day without Charles.' She said happily. He laughed. 'Is he  annoying?' He asked. 'Yes! He woke me up!' She said.
Lando grinned. 'Luckily you're with me now. Together out here in Austin.' He said. And he does his arm around her.
She smiled. 'Except for tonight. He's going to take us to a haunted house.'
'Hehehe.' He laughed.
