41 The end

Lando entered the hospital room and saw her lying underneath the sheets sleeping. The doctors told her she woke up yesterday morning before the race . The doctor told him about her first asking what date it is and then told him to turn on the iPad to watch F1. That made him smile a little. 'Cam I wake her up?' He asked.
The doctor nodded. 'If she lets you.' He said with a grin on his face. 'Good job btw.' He said.
'Thanks.' He said. The doctor left them alone. He walked to the bed and he laid his jacket down on the chair.
He shook her awake softly. She looked up. She then smiled. 'Lando.' She said. 'Hospital food is terrible.' She said. Lando laughed. 'I know.' He said. He leaned on her bed. He laid his hand on her chest. 'So how are you feeling.'
'Terrible.' She said. 'It's lonely without you.' He said. 'I know.' He said with a mean smile.
'Also talking hurts.' She said. 'Then don't reply on me.' He said. 'Tell me about the race.' She said.
He smiled. 'Well, It started with Max's car falling out. Bringing me to p3. The rest of the race was really exciting. Because I was closing in on the Mercedes while I got chased by Charles. Who luckily didn't got me. My emotions where different though, I was thinking about you for a few seconds. I was also afraid of losing you. But at that moment while driving in my car I must realised I needed to blow off some steam. And I did. And within a few laps I passed Valtteri. And Lewis was next.' He said.
'Also.' He said and took his phone out of his pocket. 'Charles posted your picture with his girlfriend while you both are terrified in the haunted house.'
He saw her reading the text. And smiled. He knew what that ment. He laid the phone down.
He stayed in the hospital that night, just to make sure she was okay.

2 weeks later.

Ann moved to England after taken care of all papers, she was excited to live in England. Lando was still driving with succes with Carlos who was vert supportive while she recovered. She found a job in England. Nearby. It was at a pizza place. She worked there as manager and she had another job. And that was at McLaren.
Lando picked her up. Lando was very helpful and she learned him some tricks in the kitchen. And every time they made dinner. They made it together. The next race was coming up and Lando was training a lot for the next race. While she worked. Lando picked her up and then took another turn. 'That's the wrong turn. Where are we going?' She asked.
Lando laughed. 'I want to surprise you. Ok?' He asked. 'Okay. But I don't trust you.' She said. He drove to a terrain. He stopped the car. A single car stood on the terrain. It was a SUV. Nice SUV. 'I think a McLaren doesn't fit for the normal day jobs. So I thought let's get an suv. He showed her the keys. 'And because I can't always pick you up.' He said. She jumped out of the car and Lando did the same. She turned around. 'Clever of you.' She said. And hugged him. He hugged her back. 'Well try it out.' He said.
