Chapter 1: Zoe

Aryan's POV

"Samira......"

I said inside my head as she looked at me confused and she suddenly stood up and walked away. Leaving me confused behind.

Rashmi's POV

"Wait what?"

"She stood up...... and walked away" Aryan said.

"Ok this may sound a bit harsh but.......are you fucking kidding me?" I shouted.

"Hey I actually saw her"

"Ya right, don't you think if you are going to hallucinate you should be hallucinating your wife instead of your half girlfriend slash best friend"

"One I am not hallucinating and two she was not my girlfriend"

"Ya right it just happened that Samira saw you all sad and everything and thought 'oh here is an idea I will come back to life go sit on a park bench with Aryan and cry along with him' sounds completely possible"

"Hey I believed it when your ex-boyfriend came back to life"

"That guy was a con man and you saw him with your own eyes, I will believe you when I see Samira with my own eyes"

"Hey guys I know you guys were married and all but I would really appreciate it if you could keep it down" Shiv said coming out of the room rubbing his eyes.

"Sorry Shiv" Aryan said.

"Sorry honey" I said as he took a chair and sat next to us.

"What happened" He said in a sleepy voice.

"Aryan is hallucinating"

"Hey I saw her"

"You saw Anaya?"

"No that's the funny part he saw Samira"

"Who the hell is Samira?"

"The love of his life"

"I don't love Samira"

"Hey that girl convinced you to lose your sleep so that she could go have tea in the middle of the night, she convinced you to date her without actually giving any commitments, she also made you take care of her even after she got married and went away, heck she even convinced you to ask her to marry you........I mean you give her one more week and she would be eating her lunch in your car"

"Hey no one brings food around my car and she didn't convince me to do any of this stuff I wanted to do it for her"

"Sounds like love to me" Shiv said.

"Of course you are going to support her you are her boyfriend"

"Hey I have my own opinions about stuff but what's my fault if they are strangely similar to her opinions"

"You know what I am totally going to go crazy if I stand here talking to you"

Aryan said and rushed back into his room.

"I am so damn worried for him" I said.

"Relax yar he will be fine"

"He is literally hallucinating and that too Samira, why is he missing Samira now? Isn't he like supposed to miss Anaya?"

"Arey why are you judging someone's hallucinations yar, let him hallucinate about whatever that makes him happy"

"You think this is funny?"

"I think this is a good thing, I mean look at the bright side?"

"What bride side?"

"You had your first normal conversation with him in two months"

"Well that's true god what will I do without you" I said hugging him.

"Bad timing yar"

"What why?"

"I am leaving for my conference tomorrow"

"Oh shoot can't you stay for a bit longer?"

"Hey I will be back before you know it"

I made a face.

"You will be okay?"

"I think so"

Aryan's POV

I laid down on my bed and thought about what happened today I can't believe Rashmi thinks that Samira can be more important to me than Anaya I mean Samira is surely really important to me but Anaya is.....was my wife she was literally like my other half she was with me during every crazy situation no matter what I say it wouldn't be enough to express how important she was to me......

Rashmi's POV

"Ahhh......if you were a real person I would have killed you like a thousand times by now"

I said to my alarm clock as I turned it off. I looked at the other side of the bed only to find that Shiv was missing and there goes my good morning out the window I thought making a face and started stretching my arms that's when I saw a sticky note on my bedside table. It read........

'Good Morning,

I didn't wanted to wake you up so I let myself out, I will call you when I reach there, also have made you breakfast it's in the kitchen.

God I have the best boyfriend in the whole world I thought as I kept the sticky note along with all the others he had written for me. With a bright smile I stepped out of my house, cold breeze hit me I rubbed my hands together to keep myself warm. I bend down and picked up that day's newspaper that's when I noticed there were a few trucks parked outside they were moving some stuff into Samir's house which has been empty for months after their family moved to another location. I saw a girl standing there I decided to ask her what is going on.

"Excuse me" I said walking towards her I froze in my place as I saw her face as I came closer.

"Yes" She said turning around.

"Samira....." I said.

"What?" She asked confused "I am Zoe" She said forwarding her hand and I shook it still in disbelief.

"Rashmi......You look exactly like one of my friends"

"Oh.....I don't know how to react to that.....anyways I am moving in next door"

"Oh" I said.

"Rashmi" Aryan called coming out of the house he froze at his place seeing Samira...sorry Zoe.

"Ahem.....actually I have to go but I will see you around" She said with a cute smile.

"Ya of course" I said and she walked away.

Aryan looked at me with an 'I told you so' expression.
