Chapter Eleven

CHAPTER ELEVEN

I woke up Sunday morning lying next to someone, Colton. *Well* I thought to myself. I sighed in relief to find that I still had clothes on. I got up to make breakfast, but I remembered that there's nothing to eat. THREE O'CLOCK?! Already?? Damn. I've never slept that long in my entire life.

I went back upstairs and saw that Colton had gotten up, he's in the bathroom, so I guess he's taking a shower. I'll just sit here, since there's nothing really to do. God, today is gonna go by so slow... Oh wait, I slept through most of it, but still!

Ten minutes passed and Colton comes out of the bathroom with just a towel on... Okay, this is umm awkward, but kind of hot. He's got freaking abs, like oh my God. I stared at him for a minute until he noticed, "Would you like to take a picture?" I blushed, and shook my head, no. He came over to me, but I realized that his clothes were under my ass so I stood up, only a foot away from him, so he could get them. Just as he reached for them, he played it off and pulled me close to him. I was shocked. He smirked and said, "Are you ready to get out of this place?" I nodded. Colton chuckled, "I need my clothes." I nodded as I handed him his clothes.

I checked the time and it was 6:30, the portal should be opening soon since the moon will be full at 7. Colton we need to hurry if we're gonna get there on time! I yelled. In a way I was happy about leaving, but in a way I was kind of disappointed because I liked spending all this time with Colton.

Colton and I walked to the school, waiting on the portal to open. My watch read 6:59. "You ready?" He asked. I smiled. 7:00, a blue glowing light grew bigger as the time ticked, we took each other's hand and stepped into the portal.

I opened my eyes to face a normal hallway, and lockers. Colton, we're home! We laughed in joy and hugged each other for a while.

"Now we need to figure out how we're going to protect you," Colton whispered. I looked up and said, I have a feeling that's not going to be hard. He smiled and kissed my forehead.
