"Okay everyone!" Coach hedge yelled coming onto the deck. "It's way past curfew! Lights out in 10 minutes and get your beauty rest!"

Lets back up. It was a starry night as the Argo II sailed on the water to Athens. The seven (plus Nico) were sitting on the deck playing a card game, under the stars and the lamp post lights Leo had installed.

Nico and Leo were the last playing and damn, were they good. They kept smacking cards down and Percy couldn't even keep track of what was happening anymore.

Jason and Piper were in each others arms holding each other. From what Percy could see in the dark, Jason was running his fingers through Piper's hair as she fell asleep on his lap.

Frank and Hazel were having a conversation and laughing about something that happened with Coach Hedge, but I couldn't quite grasp what they were talking about.

I couldn;t quite pay attention to anything, because Annabeth was in a weird mood.

We were playing Uno (I was winning but don't ask Leo cause he will say otherwise) when Annie pulled away from my shoulder. I had kind of noticed something was up with her today because she was in her cabin all day, not eating, or talking. When night fell and everyone came out here, she got worse.

She wasn't playing, she just insisted on us being a 'team' so, I had my arm wrapped around her while she put her head on my shoulder.

She sighed as she pulled away.

I looked at her. "You okay?" She didn't look fine. Her eyes were glassy and she didn't have that same happy glow I loved seeing everyday. It worried me.

She only shook her head.

"Are you sure? You cold?" I pressed on.

She pursed her lips and looked down. I looked away from her and everyone had a worried look on their faces.

"Percy," Nico whispered. "You didn't say Uno."

I looked towards him with a what the hell  look on my face. "What?"

"You're out. You didn't say Uno." He explained as if I was 4 years old.

Leo hit him. "Not the time!"

"No, no," I put my card in the deck. "Keep playing it's good."

Conversations started back up again as I turned towards Annabeth. "Hey," I whispered putting my hand on her shoulder. She flinched away.

Yeah. Flinched.

Annie looked up with a tear streaked face, and instantly 30 million questions and concerns clouded my vision. She put her hoodie sleeve to her mouth to stop from letting out a crying sound.

"What's going on?" I asked quietly. There was no doubt everyone else was listening in, but as long as they didn't show it, I really didn't care.

"I- I'm sorry." She whispered. But it came out more of a hiccup.

"Don't say sorry. Tell me whats up."

She shrugged and shook her head suddenly interested in her lap again. But I could see the tears falling from her eyes.

"Okay everyone!" Coach hedge yelled coming onto the deck. "It's way past curfew! Lights out in 10 minutes and get your beauty rest!"

Annabeth shot up and hurried away downstairs to her cabin, so fast I didn't even get a word in.

"Want me to-" Piper offered.

"No it's fine. I'll go."

"No you won't, Jackson!" Coach barked. "Straight to bed."
