Percy was not the type to get jealous.

Seriously! No matter what it is, percy was a 'whatever' type of guy.

But, when someone was straight up hitting on his girl all day? Right in front of him? Yeah, that's were he drew the line.

It all started on a chilly morning on Camp Half-Blood.

Usually me and Annabeth would get up early from our cabins and sneak out to meet other to watch the sunset together.

I was running a little bit late this morning. (don't roll your eyes, it was 5 in the morning!) I had a basket of annabeth and i's favourite blankets and snacks. Annabeth always complained that i was doing all the work but then i always reasurred her that showing up was all i needed.

As i walked towards the water i spotted annabeth sitting on the sand in our spot, looking out into the water. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. But when i saw she was sitting with someone, it seemed some sort of poison killed the butterflies.

I couldn't quite make out who she was talking to, but i had a feeling i knew who it was. I just didnt want to let myself believe he was finally making a move on her.

For the past few weeks, there has been this boy. He is me and annabeths age, super fit and good looking (i have no shame) and kind. But he is annoying as-

Anyway, for the past few weeks he has been hanging arounf annabeth and i in our alone time. yeah! the time where i want to lay on the grass with her, smell her freshly shampooed hair, make her laugh-

Sorry getting a bit carried away.

This boy is always making eyes at annabeth, and talking to her, and trying to be on her teams for activites and such. He barely acknowelges my existence.

Normally, annabeth would brush him off and tell him to lay off. Like, he for sure knows what he's doing but he hasnt seemed to get completely alone with annabeth. Shes always busy or with someone.

I've noticed that annabeth may have a bit of a soft spot for him and i cant place why. But it's pissing me off.

First name: Kai

Last name: Don't care enough.

Kai will be the end of me.

"Hey, Annie." I say carefully as i appoarch her and Kai.

"Hi, percy!" Kai interupts her and beams at me. "I noticed you and annabeth come out here in the morning and i thought i would catch her."

"You've been watching us?" I press.

"Percy," Annie warns.

"Whatever." I sit beside her so shes in the middle of kai and i. "Here you go," I smile handing her some of the snacks. "Conner and Travis snagged some special ones for me. They owed me."

She laughed. "Thank you. It's colder than usual out here."

"Yeah, it is." Kai butted in. "Want my jacket?"

"Uh- I have a sweater and percy brought blankets, thank you though." She smiled grabbing the blankets from me.

"You sure?" He asked, obviously eager.

"She's sure." I said flatly, rolling my eyes.

"Percy stop." Annabeth looked at me with warning eyes. We had a silent argument by staring at eachother. It went something like:

Annabeth:Stop being rude to him!

Me:No! He totally wants to make out with you!

Annabeth:Just stop. It's not nice!
