Rebecca didn’t listen to Mrs. Rodriguez’s lecture at all. She was definitely falling for him. She tried to push him out of her mind but she was failing to. How could some player have this big of an affect on her? I guess love does some crazy stuff she thought. After Spanish it was off to her locker and then to lunch, where she could discuss the following events with her colleagues. Rebecca approached her locker where her guy friend James was sucking his girlfriend’s face. It was hard to avoid this since they were locker neighbors. When they finally separated, Rebecca broke the silence;
“So that was soft core intercourse, how’d it go?” she asked bleakly
“Good, but is this really what girls want to do?” he asked confused about the previous events
“No, but whores like her, yes, I suggest you find a real girl who loves you for you,” she suggested happily
“That’s actually good advice, I’ll think about that, thanks.” He said with a smile on his face. Ugh a hope he finds a good girl, he shouldn’t be dating barbies anymore she thought.
At lunch, she discussed what they decided to call “The August Effect” Tori suggested that it was a game, and that Rebecca should start wearing a chastity belt. Katie thought that he may be sincere but still she should tread lightly. Nicole and Carlos agreed he has a good side, but they couldn’t determine if his intentions were good or bad towards Rebecca. Over all, her friends decided she should just go to the coffee bean with him, and get it over with. That’s what she intended to do, get it over with.
