Chapter 9: Oh Mah Gherd Slendy?!

Kakashi's P.O.V

I had been waiting 2 hours for the ok to be given for me to see Yumi again. I sighed and looked over at Naruto, who was laying on his chest with his butt in the air snoring loudly. I also noticed a little drool escaping his mouth. Tch, children.

"What is taking them so long?" I muttered to myself and looked towards Yumi's door. The nurse still hadn't come out yet and neither had Samika. Grumbling under my breath, I settled myself into a more comfortable position in my chair and closed my eyes. I might as well take a little nap while I'm waiting. Just as I was about to fall asleep, Yumi's door creaked open slowly.

I stood up and looked through the open door to see a figure standing in the threshold. A black aura was covering the figure and was obscuring them from view. I also noted that the figure had weird tentacle things waving from it.

I crouched low and got into a fighting position. Creeping forward I brought out a kunai and spoke to the creature.

"Who are you, and why are you in Yumi's room?!"

The figure just chuckled and continued waving it's flailing tentacles.

"Answer me damnit!" I growled.

The dark figure stepped out into the light and I saw big green eyes looking up at me. After stepping farther into the light, I saw that the figure... was Samika. Wearing a huge freakin sweater and waving the sleeves around stupidly. The dark aura came from the fact that it was dark outside and the lights were dim in Yumi's room.

"Samkia?! Why the hell didn't you tell me it was you?! I could've hurt you!"

"Samika is a good girl!!" she exclaimed, running around in circles, flailing the sleeves of her sweater. She was also laughing weirdly to herself...

(A/N: Samika is being a freakin back seat writer >:/ I'm gonna beat her up! *slaps her boob* THERE!)

I sighed and looked over the head of the running girl to see the nurse coming out of Yumi's room.

"Kakashi, Yumi will be fine. I've finished with her wound and she's sleeping now. Wait a little bit before you come in though, she needs her rest." the nurse instructed.

"Yes, thank you." I replied.

I was just going to sit back down in my seat when a ear splitting yell came from near me. I turned around quickly to see Samika playing darts with Naruto's butt. She was throwing the darts with... uncanny accuracy.

"SAMIKA! THAT REALLY HURTS! STOP IT!" Naruto yelled, anime crying. I facepalmed and sat down in my seat. I really hope that didn't wake Yumi up.

Mayumi's P.O.V

I had fallen back asleep after hearing the loud yell. Poor guy, whoever he was, probably wasn't feeling to good right now. I had only slept for another 10 minutes before Miya was nudging my hand and licking my arm.

"Alright, alright Miya, I'm up I'm up," I said to my feline gently, petting her head softly.

"It's about time you woke up. I've been having to watch your new "sister" scare the nurse, fake her death while playing with the scissors, steal an old man's sweater, and scare Kakashi. And now she's playing darts with that blonde boys rump." Miya spoke to me telepathically, snickering quietly.

I laughed along also and scooted over so that she could join me on the bed. Miya jumped up happily and snuggled close, purring as she did. She may be a badass, throat biting ninja cat, but she's still a cute little kitten inside.

As Miya and I cuddled, I thought back to the day when I discovered we could talk telepathically. It was 3 years ago and I was hiding from the Mist ninja in a remote village when I was suddenly knocked to the ground. I had felt a searing pain through my shoulder and hissed in pain. Looking over my shoulder, I saw a Mist ninja smirking down at me.

"Well it seems that I've finally found the elusive Cat Ninja. The Mizukage will be happy to see you again, Mayumi. Then you can tell us the secret of the Hoshiko Clan and go back to being the Mizukage's little favorite." the Mist ninja said, chuckling.

"Go tell Mizukage to suck a fuckin dick. I'm not helping you, him, or anyone else, Lutei." I had hissed. Lutei quickly dropped his smirk and sneered down at me, pulling his leg back to kick my stomach. I squeezed my eyes shut and silently screamed in my mind "MIYAKO!!"

Suddenly a large silver flash knocked Lutei down and started clawing his arms and chest.

After the battle, I was sitting in a tree far away from the village, bandaging my wounds.

I was still shocked about the fact that Miyako came when I called her. At first I thought that it was a coincidence, but then I tested it.

"Miyako?"

"Yes, Mayumi?"

That proved it. I wasn't completely crazy. Since that day, we had many telepathic conversatioins about everything. Talk about the coolest fuckin ninja cat ever. :)
