Jax barely had his bike parked before Ariel was hopping off of the back and running up the steps to her porch. Jax shook his head and grinned at the beat up old pickup parked beside him, the bed full of boxes. He looked on as the front door to Ariel's place opened and a small redhead walked out with a grin on her face. She laughed as she caught Ariel in a hug and twirled her around. When she his woman back on her feet, the one that had to be Minerva looked at him and laughed as she shook her head.
"You have to be Jackson."
Jax's grin widened as he nodded. "Yup, but most people call me Jax. You have to be Minerva."
She chuckled as she extended a hand to shake and nodded. "I am indeed. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Jax."
Jax lifted a brow. "Finally?"
Minerva just grinned and winked. "Your reputation proceeds you. All good things, believe me." She turned to Ariel, who was shooting her a dirty look. "Are you alright? I came as soon as Amdis called. Of course, it took me a few days to gather my things and sell my house, but here I am."
Ariel frowned at her friend. "What do you mean?"
Minerva smiled and wrapped an arm around the confused woman. "Why, I'm moving to Charming, sweetie."
Jax wanted to laugh at the expression on Ariel's face, but he caught himself before it slipped out. "How... why... you can't just sell your house and move, Minnie."
Minerva chuckled lightly and shrugged as she walked over to her truck. "Of course, I can, silly! I've already bought a house here." She opened the driver's door as she turned to glance at Jax. "The house out on Blackmire Road. Do you know it?"
Jax whistled through his teeth before lighting a cigarette. "Oh yeah, I know it. It's the only house on that road." He grinned. "And the only rundown mansion in Charming. Some people even say it's haunted. What are you planning on doing with it?"
Minerva frowned as she pulled a small slim cigar out of a pack and lit it. "Why, I plan to live in it, of course." She nodded to Ariel. "Myself and Ariel, plus the other girls. We'll do just fine there." She gestured to Jax with the cigar as she blew smoke out in a perfect ring. "You and your friends won't mind helping us move in, will you?"
Ariel shook her head as Jax stared at the other woman. "Uh, sure, we can do that, no problem, but... that place is going to need a lot of work before you can move in safely."
Minerva smiled and nodded. "Oh, yes, I realize that. In fact, I have a contractor meeting me there shortly." She looked at her watch and winced. "Yikes, actually in five minutes. I must run!" She pointed at Ariel. "I'll be back soon. If Riley gets here before I get back, be a dear and get her settled, won't you? You know she always has to recharge her batteries after travelling."
Ariel sighed in exasperation. "Riley's coming too?"
Minerva smiled and nodded before turning toward her truck again. "Yes, of course, she is. Who else would I have cleanse the house? We all are, dearie. Luna should be along in a few days as well." Once in the truck, she leaned out the open window. "Do either of you know where I can find Venus this evening?"
Jax nodded. "Yeah, she'll be at the clubhouse later."
Minerva smiled and nodded. "Perfect! Toodles!"
As the truck roared out of the driveway toward the main road, Ariel sighed and grinned at a chuckling Jax. "So that's Minerva."
Jax grinned as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Kind of a mini bulldozer, huh?"
Ariel snorted as they walked toward the house. "You can say that again."

Later that evening, as Jax sat with Opie and Chibs at a table by the bar, the door to the clubhouse opened and Minerva strode in as if she came there all of the time. Jax started grinning as she looked around the room before spotting Tig and Venus by the pool table. As she made a beeline for her friend, Opie looked at Jax with a frown of confusion.
"Who the fuck is that and why aren't we stopping her?"
Jax chuckled and shook his head. "That's Minerva, and I'd like to see you try, man. She's hell on wheels." When Opie continued to swivel his head from Jax to Minerva, Jax laughed harder. "She's one of Ariel's "sisters". I met her today. She's here to see Venus."
As they watched the two women embrace, Opie nodded. "Is there any more of them?"
Jax chuckled and nodded. "Oh yeah. At least a couple more that I know of."

Venus stood back from their hug and smiled down at her friend. "Oh my, sugar! I haven't seen you in ages! What brings you to Charming?"
As they settled at an empty table and Tig went to get them something to drink, Minerva sighed and shook her head. "This whole thing with Ariel." She leaned in to speak quietly. "Dearie, I don't mind saying that I'm concerned for her." She glanced over to Jax before turning back to Venus. "We all know that they are destined but she seems reluctant to pursue Jax. We must make sure that they get together."
Venus grinned as she nodded. "Well, darlin', we can only do so much. The rest will be up to them, but I understand what you're saying. A little prodding may be in order."
Minerva winked at Venus, causing the other woman to laugh out loud. "Indeed! While I think about just how to do that, let me tell you about the lovely house I just bought!"
