The next day, Minerva had barely parked her truck on the lot before Ariel was jumping out and running into the clubhouse. When she entered, the first person she saw was Gemma sitting at the bar. She hurried to her, grasping the older woman's hand in hers as tears ran down her face.

"Jackson?"

Gemma frowned as she took in the obviously upset woman. "He's in the chapel having church." When Ariel seemed to fold in on herself, Gemma grabbed her arms as Minerva wrapped an arm around her waist in support. "He's fine, sweetheart. It was a close call, but he's fine." She turned her worried gaze to Minerva. "How did she even know?"

Minerva shook her head as Half-Sack handed her a bottle of water for Ariel. "You know she can sense things, Gemma. She saw him go down on his bike. She thought... well, you can tell what she thought."

Gemma sighed as she took the drained woman into her arms and held her tightly. "Oh, baby. He's fine, I promise. They should be done with their meeting soon."

Ariel nodded as she stepped back and swiped her hands over her face. "I just... I've never been so scared."

Just then, the doors to the chapel opened and Sons started pouring into the main room, talking amongst themselves. Jax was one of the last to walk out with Opie, both talking quietly as they followed the others. Jax was almost to the bar when he looked over and saw Ariel standing with his mom and Minerva. He frowned when he saw how upset he was, walking quicker to her.

Before he could get to them, Ariel saw him and ran toward him, almost knocking him over in her haste to hug him. He hugged her close before leaning back to frown down at his openly crying woman.

"What's wrong, darlin'?"

Ariel shook her head before burying it in his chest, causing him to hold her tighter. Finally, she lifted her head and shook it again. "I saw you go down on your bike."

Jax frowned in confusion, knowing for a fact that she hadn't been anywhere near the accident. Finally, he got what she was saying, smiling slightly as he rubbed a hand up and down her back. "I'm fine, baby. Just a few scratches, I swear." He kissed her on the forehead before stepping back and taking her hand in his. "Come on, I had Half-Sack go get my truck from the house. Let's go take a ride."

She smiled and nodded, the vision partially forgotten as she followed him out of the clubhouse. Minerva sighed and grinned at Gemma as Opie came to stand beside her. "Well, that worked out well. She was so worried and wouldn't hear anything until she saw him for herself. I'm just happy that he was in fact fine."

Opie nodded before clearing his throat, making both women look in his direction. "Well, uh... since Ariel's with Jax, you wanna go for a ride? Maybe get some dinner?"

Minerva looked up at him in surprise before shrugging. "I suppose that would be good." She grinned mischievously. "I've done a lot of things but I've never been on a bike before."

Opie chuckled and nodded. "Well, no time like the present."

He turned toward the door and Minerva followed, practically skipping in her excitement, making Gemma laugh out loud. She wasn't sure how they had been blessed with this group of unusual women, but she was starting to be glad that they were.

A few hours later, Amdis shook her head and sighed as she drove toward Charming from Lodi. They had landed at the airport and soon were headed toward the clubhouse. She was always glad that they had extended parking at the airport so she never had to call for a ride. She liked just showing up announced, so she had cars in a few different airport parking lots around the country.

As she turned to the man in the passenger seat, she twisted her lips as she heard the man in the back seat chuckle at her frustration.

"Yes, we're almost there. I swear you're worse than a toddler, Niklaus."

The man in question turned to her, a smirk firmly planted on his face. "Oh dear, I must be in trouble. She called me by my full name."

His brother chuckled from the back seat. "Well, if you wouldn't ask her every five minutes, she wouldn't be frustrated."

Niklaus shrugged, apparently unconcerned with Amdis' frustrations. "I just don't know why we're here."

Amdis cut him a look as she passed a slow-moving car. "We didn't have to go anywhere. I'm here for the girls, as I have explained numerous times."

Elijah sat forward and squeezed her shoulder before giving Klaus a look. "We understand that, Amdis. He's just being petulant, as usual."

Klaus grinned and shrugged. "Perhaps." He looked out the window for a moment before turning back to the redhead in the driver's seat. "So the girls are settling into this new place well then?"

Amdis shrugged as she turned off the highway onto the exit ramp. "I suppose so. There seems to be some trouble with Minerva's new house but other than that, I think they are."

Klaus nodded before grinning at her. "And you? Do you plan on living here as well, or are you going to come back to New Orleans with us when we go?"

Amdis sighed and shook her head. "I haven't decided." She lifted a brow as she spared him a glance. "Why are the two of you with me again?"

Klaus grinned at her. "Boredom makes me do strange things, and my dear brother follows along to keep me out of trouble."

Amdis chuckled as she passed the Charming welcome sign. "Well, if it's excitement that you're looking for, you've come to the right place."
