chapter 8

this one starts a little different. Its gonna start in Ashton POV, they haven't met Ashton yet so he is a stranger.

I was coming home from detention and I was almost at the bridge when I heard sirens and saw police lights. I wonder who got in a wreak. I kept walking until I saw them pull a girl from the water, a suiside. I went up to the cop.

"what happened" he looked toward me. he was a family friend and didn't really mind sharing information.

"suicide" I scrunched my eyebrows.

"that's the girl from my school, she is always hanging out with those 3 boys" he looked back at the girl.

"maybe you could talk to them, let them know what happened" I nod my head and kept walking until I was at the blonde ones house. everyone knew where he lived, everyone knew where everyone lived. I knocked on the door and his mum answered.

"can I help you" I looked at her.

"uh is your son here, it has something to do with one of his friends" she nod her head and call him down stairs. He came down rushed and came to the door.once he saw me he rolled his eyes. I guess he knows how I am. He almost closed the door. "wait its about one of your friends, the girl". He scrunched his eyebrows.

"Rowan?" I nod my head. "What's the matter" I looked down at my toes.

"Well I was walking home when I saw a bunch of police sirens, so I asked what happened". He looked at me, waiting for an answer. "She tried to commit suicide".

He shook his head. "No she wouldn't she wouldn't do that". I nod my head.

"They're taking her to the hospital now". He closed the door for a bit and just as I was about yo leave he opened the door again with his shoes on.

He pushed past me and went for him mums car. "I don't have a license, you drive" he tossed me the keys and I hopped into the driver side.

The drive was only 10 minuets but he was really anxious to get to the hospital.

I parked and we both ran in, me behind him. He ran up to the front desk and asked the lady where rowan was. She shook her head and said some stuff I could make out. He turned toward me with tears in his eyes. "What is it"

He shook his head. "They don't think she is gonna make it, they have her under high watch but we can see her for 24 hours" I pat his shoulder.

"I'll drive you home, come on" I tried to push him to the door and he shook me off.

"I'm going to stay with her" I scrunched my eyebrows.

"What about school" he rolled his eyes.

"Who cares" I nod my head.

"I'm going to take your mums car back to your place, I'll be back" he nod his head as I left the building.
