- Foster's POV -
I jumped at the sound of my younger brother's voice and jerked around to see all three of my brothers stood smiling widely at me.
"What are y'all smiling like the Cheshire Cat for?" I asked them.
"Because it's about damn time that you finally learn what feelings are!" Culver cried out in exasperation.
"And that you CLEARLY have them for Eloise," Sawyer added.
My brothers laughed as my parents smiled.
My cheeks went a little pink.
"Holy shit! Are you, the big bad Foster, BLUSHING?!" Cayce shouted in mock shock.
"Cayce!" My mom shouted at him.
"Sorry, Ma," Cayce said.
"No, Cayce. Eloise calls him big fella," Sawyer said with a snicker.
I stood up quickly.
"I'm going to bed. Night," I said and then I rushed off to my room as everyone laughed calling night to me.
I entered my room and headed straight into my bathroom, going straight to the shower.
After my shower, I brushed my teeth, and then went out to my bed and laid down on top of the covers, staring up at the ceiling as I thought of my little Darlin'.
What am I going to do to get her to trust me? But, then again, first I need to find out what has got her so darn scared of any or every little thing as of late, I thought to myself.
With that, I rolled over, closed my eyes, and fell asleep thinking of my little Darlin' smiling brightly at me.
- Eloise's POV -
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
I shot up out of my bed, my heart racing a million miles a minute as I looked at my door, eyes wide with fear.
