I was in complete shock, but I already knew what my answer was going to be to his question.

"YES! Oh my gosh, Foster, YES!"

He slid a gorgeous ring onto my finger. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

He quickly got up and wrapped his arms around me, kissing me sweetly as we both grinned through the kiss

He pulled back and rested his forehead on mine as he spoke quietly.

"I was shitting myself thinking you were going to say no because it was too soon," he chuckled.

"Come on, now. When has anything we've done not been fast? We said I love you within, what, three weeks of knowing each other?"

"Yeah, you're right. Now, what do you say that we go sit down and eat dinner before going back to some VERY antsy and excited people?"

"Wait, they knew you were going to propose to me?"

"Yeah! I needed help! I didn't know how to do it because I've never done anything like this! I'm not romantic!" He cried as we both sat down at the table where two cloches sat overtop of two plates of food.

I looked at him like he was crazy.

"That's a lie, Foster. You are so dang romantic that I don't know how I got so lucky with you."

He grinned at my words, his cheeks going a little rosy, as we removed the covers over our plates of food, revealing a mouth-watering aroma and sight.

"So, we've got a steak - cooked well done for you because seeing the blood makes you sick to your stomach - with some broccolini and mashed sweet potatoes with honey butter and cinnamon," he explained what was on our plates

"So, we've got a steak - cooked well done for you because seeing the blood makes you sick to your stomach - with some broccolini and mashed sweet potatoes with honey butter and cinnamon," he explained what was on our plates.

"Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with such an amazing and perfect man," I said as I looked to the sky, earning myself a laugh out of Foster.

"I think I should be saying that about you, but regardless, let's eat up."

"Gladly."

"And for the love of God, please don't moan!" He begged, making me giggle as I cut off a piece of steak and popped it into my mouth. The moment I first bit into it, I was struggling to not moan out at the delicious flavor for his sake.
