Chapter 23 end

From the moment I came into this life I belived to the be cursed.

I learned very early in life...

Nothing lasts forever.

Mine and Dazai's perfect little life took a twisted turn. Yesterday we were sitting down, eating dinner like a famiy. Today we stayed layed out on the floor of the armed detective agency.

An unexpected attack on our office was enough to ruin everything. Blood looked around me as I tried to apply pressure to my wound. "It's always fucking me." I whispered to myself.

"Hold in there my goddess, things will be okay" Dazai tried to comfort me. Slowly he pulled me away from the windows and into the "safe room" we had installed.

It was a white room. A bathroom in the corner, canned food and water in another. A couple beds lined the wall. There was no way for someone to enter unless it was us.

Everyone else was already down there, they were just waiting for me and Dazai.

"Fuck Nyx." Dazai said with me in his arms. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Dazai I'm so tired of this." I replied to him.

The look of horror crossed his face. "What are you saying?" He asked me, a worried expression spread across his face.

"I don't want to be saved." I smiled up at him.

Dazai sat down, me still in his arms. My blood soaking into mine and his clothes. "Baby, our love was stained red from the moment we met eachother... how many times have I been shot now?" I asked my boyfriend.

He only looked down, to ashamed to answer me. "It's my fault... I should protect you better.." tears started to swim in his eyes.

"It's okay, maybe, in another life... we'll meet again..". I could feel myself starting to fade. I was tired, so very tired.

I reached my hand to his cheek. "I guess we can't commit double suicide together anymore" I lightly smiled at him.

My eyes closed. Everything went dark and I stopped hurting.

I finally felt.. at peace.

OMG IM SO SORRY. This chapter is super short but it is infact the end. I've lost all motivation for this story so I figured I'd just end it all together instead of leaving you guys wanting more. I'm not very proud of this story, I was in the beginning but then lost sight of what to do with it.

I hope you all enjoyed what I did write though. If you enjoyed this book then you'd probably like my other stories, they're a lot better than this.
