"AJ, would you pick up your ass and move it ? we're already 10 minutes late" Anthony said.

"So we're late for a Bioenhancement lecture, why do you care so much ? It's an ellective anyway.".

"You know I'm interested in learning more about the enhanced so lets go, Adam."

Adam picked up the pace to catch up to his friend.

"You're not just interested, you're obsessed ! And due to this fact, you already know everything about them." Adam said, "what's there to learn anyway ? A bunch of people with super powers, some are more badass than the others."

"So your equivalent to the world health organization's classification to the enhanced, which consists of five different classes by the way, is badass and more badass ?" Anthony asked, "wow, just wow."

"My point is that you know loads about them that you somehow managed to date one."

"And I ended up pissing her off so she broke my arm with her mind."

"That's because you're an asshole, Tony."

Anthony Corbyn raised the middle finger to his lifelong best friend, Adam Jackson.

"Well if it isn't AJ and fuck face !" a girl said waving to the two boys.

"I'm friends with a prick and an asshole" said Tony loudly to himself, "Hi Diane, how's shit ?".

"Shitty." Diane replied and then turned to Adam, "Hello love."

"Hello to you too." Adam kissed his girlfriend, "Tony just called you a prick by the way."

"Well, you can't blame him, I AM a big mouthed prick after all."

"Well take your big mouth, your ass, and your boyfriend's ass and get going, we're late."

The trio entered the campus and walked it's halls until they reached their lecture's room.

"You are late again Ms Mercer and you are always dragging these two young men with you."The professor said.

"Won't happen again professor, besides, they're not children." Diane replied teasingly.

"Alright take your seats."The professor said to the three students. "As i was saying, the bioenhancement phenomenon appeared 13 years ago. Dr Pietrov Jardani was conducting an experiment with the hopes of proving his theoretical research which could be summarized by saying that if we expose the human body to ' massive amount of radiation and somehow cancel the harmful effects, the human body will turn into an abnormal energy source, giving him or her enhanced abilities." Adam yawned "How many times have you heard this story ?" "Shhh.." Tony replied turning his attention to the professor. "The doctor was certain of his calculations that he conducted the experiment on himself, and as you can guess by what youʼre seeing today, the experiment was successful. The doctor continued his research afterwards while also discovering his abilities and learning to master them. He came to the conclusion that his abilities were controlable by his mind but fueled by his emotions, meaning that in order to, for example, shoot laser from your eyes, you have to induce your emotions, like get angrier or bring up a sad memory, and then control the resulting surge by focusing your mind on a target."

"I bet iʼd make a very powerful super hero since Iʼm pissed off all the time." Diane said to Tony.

"Hero ? No youʼre more of a bitch villain."

"Then you better watch yourself." Diane said in a teasing manner.

"The doctor decided to do his experiment again but on a different subject, his daughter. He didnʼt consider it a risk since it already worked well the first time, but, for some reason, the process killed her. The doctor was devastated and due to his intense emotional state, he involuntarily produced a massive amount of energy that caused a big explosion which killed a lot of people, but also caused the appearance of several enhanced individuals, the doctor wasn't strong enough to sustain such a power release so he died in the process. Now can anyone explain to me what the hell happened ?" The students laughed and then a girl raised her hand. "Yes ?" The professor said pointing to her.
