• Bakugou POV •

'Where is that damn nerd?' I looked around once again for the green head of hair I wanted to see so bad. I had been here for 10 minutes waiting for him. Does he not want to meet up anymore because of earlier? Maybe I should just go back, but what if he does come and I've left?! Just go inside Kats-

"KACCHAN!"

Turning around I was met with a hunched over Deku. He was huffing and panting and as if he had been running for quite a while. He finally caught his breath and straightened up, looking towards me with his signature smile. His forehead glistened with sweat he had accumulated whilst running. His freckles were barely visible with the dim light.

"Kacchan?" Deku's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah? What did you want me for?" I asked averting my gaze from the freckled greenete in front of me.

"Oh, about that.." He started as he began slightly rubbing the back of his neck and looking down to the soil beneath our shoes. "I was wondering, could we restart? Like forget the whole bullying thing and well, the past.." He slowly lifted his gaze from the floor to meet my eyes.

He wanted to restart? Like everything?

"What do you mean?" I asked a little confused on what he was asking.

"Like, forget everything that happened back then. Pretend we never knew each other and that I'd just met you. As if we didn't have any.....past" He continued, as he began fiddling with his hands and looking towards the ground once again.

I thought over what he was asking. He wanted us to act as if we didn't know each other. As if I had never done anything to him. It would be nice to forget everything. I could be a better friend and not such an asshole towards him. I only realised I hadn't answered when Deku spoke up again.

"Y-you don't have to say yes. W-we could stay a-as w-" I cut him off before he could finish.

"So everthing would be forgotten, it would be like we had just met today?" I asked, once again clarifying what would happen if I said yes to the offer.

"Y-yes?" He replied timidly.

A small awkward silence replaced the conversation as I thought about what to say to him. On one hand I would seem soft to accept, but on the other hand I could start a fresh with him and not be a douchebag.

"Sure nerd, let's restart" A small smile formed on my face as the small teen turned suddenly up to me and smiled a bigger smile then before. I always loved his smile. For 6 years I lost that smile and I was determined make that up.

"Really, erm okay then" He started straightening him self out before sticking out his hand for me to shake. "Hi there I'm Deku!" He continued as he once again sported his smile from before.

"Katsuki Bakugou, but you can call me Kacchan" I said as I reached out to grab and shake his hand, all while the smirk on my face staying in place and growing by the minute.
