ANGELE
As our dish arrived, a very familiar chilling voice greeted me,
"Angele?" I looked back it's Gen.
"G-gen?!' I said with shock.
Seth turned uneasy—his eyes were dancing with fire. The thought of disclosing Gen to him came back to my memory.
Damn!
"Uhmm...Gen this is Seth my-"
"Friend! Nice to meet you..." sh!t! But it's right, we're friends now.
Gen accepted his hand and they shook each other's. I laughed my nervousness out.
"Date?" Gen asked me. I hope so..."Dinner" I answered, Seth rolled his eyes, but his fist was tensed.
"Great! I'm with my friends on the bar" Gen said happily as he signalled his hand going back with his troupe.
Seth and I both ate silently, but he never failed to give me a very terrifying scowl across his face. As I drank my last sip of iced tea, he broke the ridiculous silence that suddenly embraced us a while ago.
"So Gen?" Fvck!
I gulped heavily and suppressed a fake smile, "Yes. Gen it is!" Good luck to me!
He had another sip on his drink and his eyes went directly to face mine. They were serious and I'd never seen him as unexplainable as this, "So, do you still like him?"
"No! Oh my! No!" I tap the air with my hands and added, "No way! Pshhh! Damn silly!" then, I sighed hardly.
Gawdd, what was happening with the world?
"Seth, bro?" a voice coming from my back. I turned to look at the person. Asdfghjkl... The blonde jerk and the raven dude—Seth's fvcking friends!
The duo stared at me like I was some dog poo on an ice cream cone. Seriously? The moment of their everlasting stare lasted for about an hour in my own time space. Why did this happen so slow?
"Dude is that your Angel?" the raven haired sh!t said with a very insulting chuckle. "Oooh," the blonde one started as he turned his gaze upon me,
"So you're Angel?" I smiled fake.
I glanced on Seth, he didn't seem to be happy. He was constantly rolling his eyes when his friend will throw stupid jokes. Until, suddenly I realized that the jokes were about me.
Nerd, clumsy, skunky, virgin, Sister Angel... Ass lot more bullying from his jerky friends.
My face lit up a bit, I heard Seth trying to stop his dumb-o friends, but they were like fragile 3 year-old boys.
Inside, I felt a different sensation of anger, regret and sorrow. Was I really a very abominable girl? Was that why I was like this? The thought jolted me.
Seth, then stood up and laid some amount of bills on the table—the amount looked much higher than how much he's really gonna pay. He grabbed me out of the resto and outside we walked along the streets of Manhattan.
The lights and the busy people synced with each other, however we remained silent. Seth's face was very deadpanned, I cannot guess how was he feeling or whatever. My hands squirmed and removed from his hold. He faced me—he looked calm and a little bit lighter that earlier.
He place a hand on my shoulder and told me "I'm sorry about Justin and Kyle. They're just like that. They are never serious."
My face was still on the ground, until a sudden idea of ridiculousness with a mix of my lunatic nature came in.
