The Babysitter || CHONI

Chapter 5

Toni's pov:

Cheryl and I just arrived at the restaurant and I'm nervous as hell. She's so beautiful, I love her kids already and I don't want to screw this up.

Once I stopped the car, I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and ran to Cheryl's door opening it for her.

"Thank you, T" she said with that adorable smile.

When she stepped out, I took her hand and led her to the door. We walked in and went to the host, my hand still in Cheryl's.

"Reservation for Topaz?" I asked.

"Uh, yes right this way" he said leading us to our table.

He took us to the table in the far back corner. Cheryl sat down and I sat across from her trying to look everywhere but at her because of my nerves. I think she could tell I was nervous when she said,

"Hey, there's no need to be nervous just, talk to me. Let me get to know the real you" she smiled reassuringly.

"Ok, what do you want to know" I smiled back, feeling a bit better.

"I don't know, Do you have any family?"

That was kind of a touchy subject but I answered anyway.

"Well my parents died in a car crash when I was sixteen so my little sister and I were put into foster care until we met a really nice family who ended up adopting us about a year later. We both moved out but we still visit them from time to time" I rambled.

"Wow, I'm sorry about your parents" she said.

"It's ok you don't need to feel sorry for me" I gave her a sad smile.

After a long night of laughter, a bit of crying, and getting to know one another I felt so close to her already.

We were now taking a short walk outside in a comfortable silence until she spoke up.

"I had a really great time tonight TT"

"TT?"

She blushed and looked down while saying,

"Sorry i didn-"

"No, I love it" I said looking into those big beautiful brown eyes.

We were looking deep into each other's eyes until she suddenly started to slowly lean in, I did too and before I knew it, her soft plump lips were on mine. It was magical, I had a million butterflies in my stomach and I never wanted to stop.

Soon air became a problem and we lied our foreheads together, breathing heavily.

"That was amazing" she giggled.

"Yeah, it really was" I replied looking in her eyes once again.

"Toni I know this is probably really soon but I can't help the feelings I have for you already. Will you please do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" She asked nervously but hopefully.

I was shocked.

She was asking me if I wanted to be her girlfriend? Is this a dream!?
