The Babysitter || CHONI

Chapter 4

Toni's pov
Wednesday:

I just got back from hanging out with Sweet Pea when I got a notification on my phone as I sat down on the couch. I checked it and it was the babysitting website I signed up for.

"Cheryl Blossom sent you a message."

I opened the message immediately after seeing her name pop up.

CB- hey Toni, I know this is kind of weird, me sending you a message on this website but when I went to text you I realized I didn't get your number on Monday. Anyways, I just wanted to remind you about our date at 7 in case you might've forgotten. I'm really excited and can't wait to see you! XX

Oh my god! I totally forgot about our date today.

I looked at the time and it was 5:56 which meant I only had about an hour to get ready. I texted back a sweet reply with my number so we didn't have to use the website anymore, then got off the couch and ran up stairs to my bedroom to get ready.

When I got upstairs I quickly ran to my bathroom and hopped in the shower. After a very quick shower, I ran into my closet to pick out a decent outfit. I decided to go with a simple short black dress paired with some black heels.

After getting dressed I ran back to my bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I chose to go with a light wavy look with my hair with a natural makeup look.

After doing all of that and brushing my teeth, I was finally ready to go at 6:48 which meant I had just enough time to get to Cheryl's and pick her up on time.

Cheryl's pov:

After I sent Toni that message I was kinda nervous she wouldn't reply and I might have scared her off. That was until she sent me a message back.

TT- Hey! Got your message and I can't wait to see you either! Here's my number so we don't have to keep using this website. 878-236-1439 see you soon! XX

I am so excited and nervous at the same time.

Before I had sent the message I was already done with my hair and makeup. My hair was wavy and to the side while my makeup was a red look to match my short red dress. After changing into my dress I went down the hall to the kid's room to check up on them before I left.

As I walked in I saw Sam playing with is cars while Ruby was watching YouTube videos on their shared iPad.

"Hey guys I'm leaving soon" saying that immediately caused Ruby to snap her head up and jump off her bed with a pout on her face.

"What?! Where are you going mommy?" She asked me in a very sad voice as she grabbed onto my arm holding it tight.

"I told you two I had a date tonight and aunty Betty will be here soon" when I finished, Ruby looked even sadder.

"Who do you have a date with" Sam asked.

"Um, with someone" I replied, not really wanting to tell them I was about to go out with their babysitter.

"Ok. Can Toni watch us instead then?" Sam asked making me even more nervous then I was before.

"Actually bud, Toni is the one I'm going on a date with"

When I said that Ruby looked kind of upset but Sam jumped up and said,

"Really?! Are you guys together?! Is she going to be our second mommy?! Will she live with us?!"

Wow he must really like Toni. I was really glad that he did though because I really liked her too and she already seemed to be getting along with the kids. Well Sam at least.

"Uh, I don't know yet bud we'll see how tonight goes" I replied with a nervous chuckle.

"Ok" Sam said happily.

I looked down at Ruby and gave her a smile. She gave a sad smile back before going to sit on her bed again.

I just sighed and turned around to head out twords the living room after hearing a knock at the door. When I opened the door, it revealed a tired looking Betty.

"Oh Betts, if your too tired I can totally reschedule my date"

"No Cher I'm totally fine. Go in your date and have a great time" she smiled back at me.

"Really?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes really, I'm fine"

I just smiled back and said "ok".

Just after our interaction, there was another knock on the door but I was scared to open it. I must've been staring at it for a while because they knocked again snapping me out of my nervous trance.

I took a deep breath then opened the door slowly revealing the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She had her wavy dark hair spiraled across her shoulders and she was wearing a beautiful short black dress.

"Hey Toni, you look absolutely gorgeous" I said very nervously.

"Was saying she was gorgeous too much?" Oh well, too late now

" Hey cherry, you look beautiful as always" she smiled back.

I blushed at the nickname she gave me.

" Uh, should we get going?" She asked.

"Oh! Yeah of course just let me say goodbye to the kids one last time first" I said turning my head to the living room seeing Betty and the kids curled up on the couch started a movie.

"Bye guys, I'll be back soon" I yelled to them.

They all just replied with a tired " bye" then continued watching their movie.

I turned back around twords Toni and and she smiled at me then grabbed my hand gently walking me to her car. She opened my door for me causing me to smile at her then she got into the driver's seat and we were off to whatever mystery restaurant she was taking me to.

This is going to be so exciting I can feel it!

Heyy! So I was going to write in the date in this chapter but got to tired too. Next chapter will be the date and a possible small time jump. I've been really busy but I promise I will get the next chapter out ASAP! Also, if the pictures of the dresses don't show up I'm sorry my phone is being a stupid piece of shit :)
