Just the Beginning

Aiden's P.O.V
I need to do something about this.The palace is falling apart and am sure there are traitors.I pack a few of my belongings in my suitcase.Someone barges in causing me to snap my head towards the door.

"My prince I apologise,I couldn't stop her",i nod my head in understanding.
"It's alright,leave",i tell the guard.

"Aiden listen to me,I know you're eager to stop all the mysterious things going on in the palace",she walks over to grab my hands "Please stay, it's dangerous out there, you're my first born,the rightful heir to the throne.I want you to be safe." Tears fall from her eyes and I wipe them away with my thumb.

"I know what am doing mom, don't worry about me, it's my duty to keep this kingdom safe, I'll do anything I can to make sure everyone is safe.I need to go.I love you so much and I promise to come back soon."I say and hug her.
"Take care of yourself and my siblings.Jake will let you know about my well being and we'll send letters through him.At the moment I don't trust anyone."

She nods her head and leave my room without saying anything
I grab my suitcase and go downstairs through the elevator.
My guard takes my suitcase and place it in my Audi.
I see Jake my best friend inside .
He gives me a tight lip smile in assurance and I shake my head.

I sit at the drivers seat and start the car.
This is just the beginning,my lycan Ryder growls in my head.

Jake offers to drive when he realised how tense I was.
There's this amazing scent that made it's way to my nostrils.
I switch seats with Jake and look around to see whether I'll discover where this scent was coming from.
