The hunt begins

I run through the forest with all the strength I have .My body feels numb and my feet is sore.
I kept on screaming Jake's name hoping he'll come to my rescue.A loud growl tears through the forest and I know my ten minutes is up.

I pull the thorn from my foot.It hurts so much.My blood trails behind me.I hope I'll wake up from this dream.

An idea pop in my head.I leave trails of blood at a place and I sprint towards the next clearing doing the same thing.It will keep him away for a while.Adrenaline pushes in causing me to dodge trees.I swear I ran better than Usain bolt.

My heart burns.I take in deep breaths greedily as I lean on a tree.I can't continue with this.I'm fed up.

I rush towards it,wear it and button it.It reaches my knee.The sleeves are long so I fold most of it till my hands reveal.

"I can't restrict him for long.Run back to the castle.The Queen will be waiting for you",Striker growls out

I run back.Getting up when I fall and running as if death is following me.I see the palace gate in sight and I feel so happy.I run faster and enter.The Queen hugs me and pull me to her chambers.

"I'm glad Jake came in time.Ryder gets out of control sometimes,here have this",she gives me a glass of water.I gulp it down.

The thought of this makes me feel jealous.Ryder getting intimate with another woman "Has he ever done it to any other person?"I ask

"Yes he hunts people,but he kills them.You're his mate so killing you is out of the way."
I nod my head.She makes a warm bath for me and I wash my self.

I stood infront of the bathroom door in a robe and I hear the queen talking to someone outside the door.I don't mean to eavesdrop but I listen.

"Mom let me see her,I want to see for my self if she's okay",I hear Aiden plead.He seems vulnerable.

"No son"the queen says.

"I've never felt so weak.I couldn't stop Ryder.He took advantage of me.Since she came I never shifted because I didn't want him to get out of hands"he sobs and my heart softens.

"I can't force her to see you,leave"she says.

"Mom I want to speak to him",I say before I realise it.

"Are you sure?"she asks softly and i nod my head

"Yes",I whisper.She leaves the way and I step out.

Aiden hugs me tightly and I wrap my arms around him.
"I'm so sorry",he says into my hair.
"Me too",i say.
"Let's go to my room,please",he pleads and I look back to ask for permission from the Queen with my eyes and she nods.I follow him to his chambers.

We both lie on the bed and he tells me so many things about his lycan,Ryder.
Striker can stand against Ryder because they're reincarnated lycans from the past.They are from the same ancestry.
He apologies several times and I cut him off by kissing him.

"Enough of the apologies",I whisper.He pulls me close to him.Place a kiss on my forehead and my body relax.

"How do you do that?"
I ask
"It's part of my powers.I can manipulate emotions."I nod my head.
My eyes feel drowsy so I close it.

Aiden's P.O.V
I watch Emmy sleep.She looks so peaceful and innocent.Her lips are slightly apart and I listen to her heartbeat which sounds like music to my ears.I smile.

I'm happy Jake helped her.I want it to be me when that day comes.I want to be the one who makes love to her.In my rightful sense.
Ryder can have his turn when I turn her into a lycan.We can both shift so our animals can have their own fun.

I wrap my arms around her waist protectively.She's mine and I protect what's mine.I close my eyes and let sleep consume me.
