Moving on... kinda

I was sat on the sofa with a horrible knot in my stomach. I look around at all the packed boxes in front of me - my life for the past year. Today I was moving back to LA with Harry.
"Yes but Jeffrey are you sure that they are going to get there? You know I've had trouble in the past. No I don't know if that's going to be an option. Paige wants this stuff in LA. Yes, fine just please make it okay? Right bye." Harry makes a dramatic eye roll face and face palms. "Seriously anyone would think this hasn't been arranged for a month!"
I half smile at him.
Christmas with Niall and Lana had been amazing but it was all over way too fast. Now we were heading back to LA.
"Our flight is confirmed for 5pm love." Harry says to me checking my bag is by the door for the thousandth time. I nod.
"P - are you okay?" He's standing in front of me now. His green eyes full of worry.
"Yeah. I'm fine." Shake it off Paige my head reminds me.
"You sure?" He looks out at me from under his eyelashes. I nod.
Suddenly the front door springs open and in pours Niall, Lana and Liam. They had been absent for most of the day and I was beginning to think that they were avoiding the goodbye. "We got you this." Liam passes us a big cardboard box.
"It's hot off the press." Lana says.
I frown and start to help Harry open the box. It opens slowly and I feel my eyes well up as I look at it. It's a massive collage of my past year in London. It has pictures of all of us from throughout the year, paper cutting of reviews of my writings and the magazine clipping of Harry dedicating Falling to me. There are also several picture of me with Louis and My heart aches. "This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen." I grab Lana and hug her tightly. I let the tears full onto her white top. "You are coming out to visit me. I will get Harry to pay!" I say full on sobbing. "Of course I will!" She replies clearly crying as well. Niall, Liam and Harry are watching us bewildered. "I know just the spot for this. Thank you." Harry says. He puts it carefully back into the box it came in.
"I'm going to miss you all so much." I'm still sobbing. I grab them all in for a group hug.
"Niall you don't know how you much you changed my life by letting me stay here. Thank you." He smiles at me and I'm sure once I walked away I saw him quickly dab at his eyes. "Liam. It's so great to be friends again." He smiles and laughs at me.
"Well you've matured a lot." He shrugs and I grin at him.
I look at my three friends in front of me. The past year of my life has been made better because of them then I look to Harry. In his brown cord trousers and black hoodie which was his own merch - treat people with kindness. And I realise maybe this move is the best thing for me.

The flight was long and boring. The only entertainment was when Harry fell asleep and started snoring so loudly that someone complained. The air hostess was having none of it and told the lady to enjoy it because it was Harry Styles making that noise. I'm convinced she was a fan.
The house looked like it had been frozen in time since I was last there. Everything was the same apart from the beach looked a lot more friendly now.
I picked up my bags and started walking upstairs. I automatically walked to my old room which still had most of my stuff in it. It looked like a museum. I put my bag on the bed and sighed. There was old photos around the room of Harry and I. Loads of my jewellery that I had forgotten about and even my signed Robert Downey Jnr iron man poster. I smiled, I forgot I even had that.
"I think you're in the wrong room." Harry was in the doorway looking amused. He was smiling to the side of his face and his left dimple was visible.
"Oh do you now?" I laugh. He nods and extends his hand which I happily take. We walk to the master bedroom and as we walked in I froze. The view was breathtaking.
"I forgot how lush your view was!" I say running over to the bay window and sitting on the window seat. LA was beautiful today and the beach below the house looked inviting. I look again and it actually looks way different. Then I realise that a tree is missing.
"Wasn't there a tree there?" I ask.
"Umm... I don't think so. Where?" Harry's voice sounds weird. I point to the space where the tree was.
"Right there. I swear you didn't have that clear a view down to the beach."
"Oh yeah. I had it removed." He says casually. I frown and pull my head back slightly.
"Why?"
Harry looks at me shyly.
"I had it removed so I could watch you on the beach every night." He's looking at the ceiling clearly embarrassed. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
It was slightly creepy yet at the same time I fell a little bit more in love with him.
I run over to him and throw him on the bed.
