Breakfast

I'm staring at the door. Did that really happen? Did he just say that? Was he just here? My back was aching due to being stood that whole time talking to him, I didn't realise how tense I was. I let out the breath that I didn't notice I was holding.
I sit on the sofa crossed legged and I'm still in disbelief at what just happened. Are we okay now? Did we get out everything we needed to? Are we friends again now? The smell of Tom Ford still lingers. I'm absent mindlessly playing with the necklace now around my neck.
He said to listen to falling. Those lyrics felt personal to me when I first heard them and now the confirmation makes it worse. That song broke my heart all over again. I drop my hand from my necklace and put my hands on both knees looking up at the ceiling trying not to cry. I feel something furry in my lap and look down to realise I had subconsciously pulled Louis blanket over me. My heart ached. He still hadn't replied. Suddenly a tornado of emotion built up inside me. Happiness from finally talking to Harry again, a longing filled but maybe a another one opened, guilt and pain because of Louis and somehow I felt joyful of a part of me returning to myself. I'm not sure how long I sat there for running thoughts through my head.

The door bursts open and in poured Lana closely followed by Niall.
"SLOW HANDS LIKE SWEAAAT DRIPPING DOWN OUR DIRTY LAUUUUNDDRRRYYYY." ouch my ears. Lana is singing and quite clearly drunk.
"Hahahaha," Niall is laughing beside her.
"It smelllls beautiful in here." Lana says while jumping next to me on the sofa. I blush slightly but I hope she's too drunk to notice. "Is Louis back?" She says. My heart longs.
"No." I say.
She moves her bottom lip.
"That's no fair. No cuddles for Paige." She makes an even sadder face.
"I'll give her a cuddle." Niall pipes up. I look over at him with his hand on one of our dining room chairs to keep his balance and he's slightly bent over clearly feeling the effects of alcohol. I smile.
"Paige just tell him your sorry. You love him. It will all be fine." Lana slurs while patting me on the side of the arm. I frown at her.
"Love him? I...I..." I began.
"Sure hun. Keep telling yourself that. Niall come on! bedddddddd." With that she stands up. She wobbles slightly and I put my hands out in case she needs them. She puts her index finger up at me as if to tell me off.
"I'm okkkkay." Another slur.
She stumbles over to Niall and grabs him by his shirt collar. She leads him down the hallway and I hear a door slam. I make a disgusted face. I'm sure they will both be passed out in a couple of minutes. My phone buzzes on the side of the sofa.
It was great to see you. Maybe again tomorrow? - H.
I type a reply.
It was great to speak to you and finally apologise. Lana and Niall just got home so good job you left when you did. They are pretty drunk and just gone to the bedroom together. Tomorrow is perfect - maybe breakfast before the drunks wake? I've got a magazine interview at 9ish. - P

Tomorrow it is then :). I've always had perfect timing. Hope they don't keep you awake. Sleep tight love. - H.
I jump off of the sofa and head back towards my bedroom. I am exhausted still - the nap earlier didn't do a lot and I suppose the stress of everything doesn't help either. I climb back into my bed.

I remember tossing and turning all night. The dream is hazy but I remember seeing Louis and Harry in it. I kept waking suddenly and then rolling over and falling back to sleep. Only waking fully when my alarm went off at 7am.
I stop the alarm and check my phone once more. No message from Louis. I just don't understand - I've never gone more than a day without talking to him.
My phone buzzes in my hand and I almost drop it on my face.
Don't forget small mag interview at 9.15am. Get there for 9am just in case. Will meet you there. Hannah x
Hannah is my manager, Like I said I write sketches for tv shows now but sometimes magazines or tv shows would like to do interviews with me as they find my back story fascinating. They always ask for interesting facts about the boys.

I frown at my phone. What is she talking about? I quickly close the message and type into google. The interview is the first thing that comes up but after scrolling a bit I can see many other articles most titled 'Tomlinson's mystery girl.'
I go back up to the top and I read the interview. I hold my breath when I read question 5.
Interviewer: So you say you're really happy at the moment and a few songs on your album are inspired by someone in your life? Does that mean that you've finally found love?
What a cheeky question; That's asking if he's got a girlfriend without actually asking if he's got a girlfriend.
Louis smiles his signature smile and then happily answers the question.
Louis: There are one or two songs about someone yeah. They know who they are do you know what I mean. I gulp. I don't know if I would say love at this particular time but I think I've got something good going with someone currently, yeah. Let's just say I'm getting very close with someone at this time and it's all happy days.
Louis smiles again clearly thinking about this mystery girl.
I stop reading. My stomach is full of butterflies again. I go back to google and scroll down to one of the 'mystery girl' articles.
After a recent interview for Bblux magazine Tomlinson reveals that he's currently got a 'good thing' going with someone. Fans are speculating who this mystery girl can be with some of them thinking that he might have rekindled his relationship with Paige Sanderson after being spotted with her recently. Sanderson is currently a writer on several tv programmes after moving back to London suddenly last year. She had previously been a handler to One Direction during their tours. Tomlinson and Sanderson supposedly dated during the bands 'where we are tour' in 2014 before she was linked to Tomlinson's band mate Harry Styles the following year. Although the relationship between her and Styles was never confirmed Sanderson moved to Los Angeles with Styles when the band went on hiatus and worked with him on his debut self titled album which was released in 2017.
