Chapter 19- Missing each other

Evelyn's POV

Tyler's room was right next to my large, elegant room, I've never been away from home for such an extended period, getting back to my cosy spot after a long getaway was such a mere pleasure.

I opened the large French doors and closed my eyes as I felt the soft warm breeze embracing my arrival.
My room has always been neat and tidy; and it was the same even after my return because no one uses it when I'm not around except for Ms Nancy who generally does the housekeeping for me.

I reached out for the curtains, and pulled it open to catch the pleasant view of the calm lake Derwent water and the mountains that created exquisite scenery.

I opened the French windows to get a whiff of the fresh air that was clearly evident on the glass of my windows; I could hear the familiar sounds of the raucous metallic shriek heralds and the arrival of the carriages distantly.

I left all my belongings on the counter and plugged in my phone to the charger since it had barely sufficient charge. I picked up my favourite caramel coffee that looked tempting and soothing from my side table and the coffee was made excellently to soothe my taste buds, since I've missed my indispensables a lot back at the woods.

I thought it was wise for me to slip into something comfortable before I could take a nap. I stripped down and stepped slowly into the tub, rotating the water on and letting the drop embed over my body in steamy rivulets.

I closed my eyes to the water as the heat was soaking into my skin; I had to lean against the cool marble as my weak legs threatened to buckle up.

The water cascaded down my body massaging my muscles and long past cramps. I closed my eyes since it felt heavenly; it was more like zoning out for moment. The moment I closed my eyes, nothing but the mesmerizing appearance of Tyler clicked in; I was missing him badly even though I knew he was right next door.

I quickly slipped into a pair of cotton plush pink night shorts with a light turquoise green tank top, I felt a little cold so I put on my favourite Barbie themed knitted sweater which I got for my birthday last year.
I applied a generous amount of lip balm since my lips were drying up and pulled my hair into a pony tail.

I grabbed my phone off the charger and clambered into my bed. I lay there, snuggled up in my sheets waiting for a text from Tyler.

I was going through my gallery of images trying to recall the lovely moments we spent together at the woods. I sorted the pictures into a different folder tagging it "favourite". I halted to see if I received any messages from Tyler, but there was sadly nothing. "He surely is tired" I thought to myself and tried taking a quick nap.

My legs started aching, I felt extremely tired by now but I just couldn't fall asleep. Sleep was the only thing I required now, however much I tried closing and forcing myself to sleep I still couldn't. I realized I was missing Tyler quite a lot.

Right at this moment my phone was ringing, it read "Tyler" in bold. I quickly sat upright and swiped the answer button.

"Hey princess" I heard a strong voice trying to whisper, I was wondering why he had to talk so softly.

"Darling......" I blushed while responding because I really wanted him now.

"I don't have the luxury I seek Evee" Tyler said in a disappointed tone.

"What luxury don't you have? Can ask Ms Nancy to get whatever you want instantly sorted Tyyy" I quickly rushed the words since I didn't want him to feel uncomfortable at my residence on the first day itself.

"ummm! I don't think she'll be able to fulfil that luxury i need Evee" tyler responded back stressing on my name.

"Please tell me Tyyyy....I'll try my best to get it sorted" I pleaded Tyler because I felt a little disappointed.

"Are you sure Evee?" tyler asked with a unpleasant voice.

"I swear I will" I promised.

"Will you stick by your promise?" tyler asked me.

"I definitely will if it's around my means, okay Tyler throw it out... What do you want...?" I asked impatiently.

Tyler was silent for a minute and then he said "The kiss that I was diving into Evee, I miss that luxury that I get from you..... So basically I miss you despite being so close, can you walk my girl here to see me pleassseee.....right now?".

Before I could respond I heard a tap on my door and it was Cloyal. My brother returned home and had come to see me over.

"I'll call you soon Tyyy, Cloyal is here" I rushed the words trying to disconnect the line,

"Tell me if you'll come now Eve?" Tyler questioned not letting me disconnect till I gave him a reply.

"I'll call you soon Tyyyy, love you" saying this I hanged up because I really wanted to see Cloyal very much.

I opened the door to see my handsome brother standing right in front of the door. I jumped into his arms and hugged him tight kissing his cheeks. If Tyler saw this he is definitely going to get jealous because I love Cloyal to a different extent and vice versa.

"I've missed my little shorty pants very much this time" Cloyal said stroking my head and kissing me back on my cheeks.

He left me down and asked me how I was feeling, we spoke for a while inside my room and he left to change since he was after a basketball match promising to meet me during dinner. I didn't want to tell Cloyal anything about Tyler, I wanted to surprise him.

After Cloyal left I called Tyler but he wasn't responding to my call. I tried calling him twice but there wasn't any response either. He must have got annoyed since I hanged up without giving him an answer. Since I had to fix things up, I left my room to meet him.

I checked if anyone was in the corridor, luckily there was no one so I slowly sneaked into Tyler's room. I opened the door, and luckily the knobs in my house don't make any noise so I opened the door slow as possible.

Tyler had left only the night lamp switched on and the rest were off, he had completely covered himself with his sheet probably fallen asleep. I locked the door and walked keeping my steps carefully ensuring I don't make any noise.

I sat next to him on the bed laying my hand on his chest and the other slowly running through his wavy hair and blew on his lustrous face. This woke him up and before he could say a word I closed his mouth with my hand.

"Don't scream, Cloyal is your neighbor, I still didn't tell him anything about you" I whispered to Tyler.

He immediately took my hand away and held the back of my head pulling my hair band off, instantly my hair flipped over the exposed parts of my skin.

He cleared the strands that was blocking view of my face and brought my face closer to his.
