Chapter 23-Keswick's mountain festival

Evelyn's POV

The month of May has always been full of life in the mountains of Keswick, as Tyler and I approached the festival village we witnessed a large crowd roughly about 500 people around the entrance standing in queue to purchase their tickets.
The festival theme this year was blue, white and purple which created an ambience of individuals being decorated in those colors. Everyone who purchased the ticket based on the criteria was given wrist bands to tie around and free caps.

The atmosphere looked fantastic with immense greenery, hundreds of flags around, a tranquil deep blue sky with pearl white clouds puffed sitting on the sky as if someone was holding them, everyone was loud and consumed in there , food was being sold in trucks, event hosts were walking up and down and the whole place was just active.

"Everyone seems to be excited here, the crowd isn't bad I guess" Tyler said raising his shades to his head.

"There is more to come, you can expect approx. of 1500 guests or even more" I said while reminiscing the last year festival event.

"So Tyler, this is called the festival village, the main events here are sports, live music, karaoke night and camping will take place here, while the sporting centre will be a ten-minute walk to the spring road village. Let me call Krystal so that we can get our agenda and tickets, I'll brief you everything in detail afterwards" I explained to Tyler while dialing Krystal's number on my phone.

Before I could call her, I received an incoming call from Cheryl, so I quickly picked it up and answered "heyyy Eve, where have you been? Are you at the festival village?".

"Hiii Cheryl, I'm at the entrance gate, we just got here, would you mind coming here for me?" I asked.

"Yeah I'll be there in two minutes" Cheryl replied, I barely could hear her since her call was filled with flamboyant Noises. I disconnected the line and looked up to see Tyler when I caught him capturing random pictures of children playing on his DSLR.
When Tyler turned to me, I started posing in weird poses and Tyler was very sweet that he snapped them all. We then took crazy looking selfies and a couple of stupid videos till Cheryl, Krystal and Cloyal greeted us with a big "hiiii".

"Helloo" I started hugging them all at once. Tyler gave a side hug to Cloyal and hugged Krystal and Cheryl. All three of them were attired in extremely attractive sports gears.

"Here are your tickets, two tickets for the festival weekend including the caravan tickets and your wristbands for the festival activities. So this is the brief for the both of you, the festival will start in an hour; the main speakers will take over and brief the overall event and lay the plan for the next three days. We will start with visiting the camping site, leave all baggage's safely and then visit the sporting centre at the spring village. Then you can use the festival activity band to take part in any activities you want. During that period if your tummy crumbles then there is multiple food caravans serving you various mouth-watering foods. Understood???" Krystal detailed the whole plan in a flash.

"Ohhh wait, what about Shawn Mendes and Taylor's live music concert" I cried.

"Ummm they are coming tomorrow; you got to wait till tomorrow for that. We will have some other celebrities pulling out a great live music night for us today, so get yourselves checked at the counters, clear it off and then meet us at briefing spot, See you guys there" Krystal patted my back and the three of them left.

We were close to the counter, Tyler was being checked at the male counter, and I was being checked at the female counter. There were two young ladies before it was my turn in the queue, I kept staring at Tyler since he was filling in an application and getting his ticket cleared. He looked too hot out there in his black v neck tee shirt, kaki green shorts paired with Nike black trainers. Tyler had his black ray bans on, which just looked too good on him, at this point I was a little jealous when I caught a couple of girls giggling behind me talking about how good-looking Tyler was and how they were fighting over him.
For sure the bitchiness in me came out when I turned around and asked them "do you think that dude with the black v tee-shirt over there looks boyfriend material?" pointing at Tyler and giving them a sarcastic face.

"Yes indeed, he definitely has everything that a man should have to impress someone like me" the girl with green hair replied starring and flirting over Tyler.
This got me started, so I immediately said "Ohh does he, but unfortunately he's fallen for a girl with a great personality like me, I guess and I smirked sarcastically, and yeah you thought right, I am his girlfriend" I said with a boss girl attitude which shut their mouth.

"Ohhh bad" the girls cried in unison. I definitely had to be careful which such girls around; I quickly got myself cleared and walked towards Tyler.

"Are they your friends" Tyler asked me while putting the strands of hair that fell over my eyes behind.

"Umm not really, they were asking me something about the festival" I quickly said trying to convey how irrelevant that meeting was.

Tyler put his right arms over me, and we started walking towards the briefing spot in lane 1.

*** At the camping site***

The briefing was done, all of us started walking towards the camping village to choose our accommodation and leave in our baggage's. Tyler was busy taking the lead along with Cloyal; they were consumed into a conversation about basketball and the blues.
The three of us started our petty conversations starting from our clothing, to Cloyal and Cheryl's relationship, Tyler and mine and then about all the other stuff.

"Cheryl please give me some water, this is way too long we've been walking "I cried because I could already feel my legs and the sun right on top of us, I was already sweating.

"Don't tell me that, because you've been able to walk with Tyler for hours at the woods and you're finding it difficult to complete this 10-minute long walk?" Krystal started bugging me.

Cheryl added saying "oops, do you want Tyler to escort you, is that why you are saying this".

"Ohh nooo, that's not why I am saying this, can you guys please shut up already!" I smirked.

"Can we talk something other than basketball please" Cheryl annoyed Cloyal asking him to change the conversation topic because she wanted them to include us in their conversations.

We kept talking till we entered the camping site. Most of them had already chosen their tents and was sorting their bags out. The manager of the camping site approached us and asked us for our tickets. He then asked if we wanted single or double tents.
We were discussing about, asking the manager for a large tent that could fit the five of us, but then Krystal excused me for a moment off the conversation.

"Listen, you and Tyler, Cheryl and Cloyal get double occupancy tents please, don't think of me because I'll be staying with my new date today" she said closing her eyes.

"What do you mean" I asked confused

"Yeah, I wanted to tell you this, two days back I found this guy who is also a volunteer at the festival, and we kinda vibe well, so he asked me if we could stay the night together" she said squinting her eyes because she was sure I'm not letting her stay with someone I don't know.

"Are you crazy!!! You just know him for only two days and you are telling me that he wants to share the nights with you. Do you even know what he means?" I asked in an annoyed tone.
"This is ridiculous" I said

"Trust me, he's a nice guy and I feel like I've known him for twenty years already Eve, his name is zac and I'm totally into him" she cried. I felt sorry because this is the first guy Krystal has ever fallen seriously into, she has never dated anyone. So I didn't want to say no.

I hugged her tight and whispered "we can all stay together, but if you trust him then I'll let you go, promise me that you'll take care!" 

She smiled her face was filled with happiness, and she said "I will ensure he stays with me forever just like how you found Tyler for eternity". We kissed each other's cheeks and walked towards the trio discussion.
