Essence was being overcome with a sense of boredom.

With hair made out of the water from the pond that she had been relaxing in, she ran her fingers through it as she gazed up into the sky. The clear blue sky that filled one with a sense of hope just gazing at it.

It's been a few weeks since she had last spoken to Kaizoku but she was already feeling the need to have another conversation with him again. The last one ended to abruptly because of an annoyance of a queen with a drinking problem.

"That woman always gets in the way. Who would have that such a ghastly woman would be such a pain?" She complained to small creatures that surrounded her in the forest. "Ah, am I being punished for being on the pursuit of love? Is The System creating blockades for me? How vexing..."

She grabbed one of squirrel-looking creatures and began petting it. It looked as if it had been for a method of calming herself and the furry creature was very therapeutic.

Some of the creatures surrounding her looked similar to the cubs of large Dire Beasts and even the Dark Routes that were found on Graellum. Creatures that looked to be part 'shadow' with mischievous grins approached the goddess in a small groups.

With them, was a bottle with the label removed. It was clear that it had been alcohol.

Not even hesitating to grab the bottle, Essence removed the cap and downed it. Since she was made completely of water, how drunk was she able to get? It was impossible, right?

Wrong.

"I mean, what does she have that I don't? It can't be looks, right?! I'm pretty, right?! Please tell me I'm pretty!" Essence who was now red in the face, lost all manner of elegant speaking and started shouting in the forest. She appeared to be looking for any living thing who had the ability to listen nearby.

Eventually the creatures that she had surrounded herself with started disappearing. Each finding something else to do instead of taking note of the blabbering goddess and her antics.

The alcohol was given to her in the hopes that she would relax and be at ease, but now the adverse was happening. She was acting like a complete drunk.

Essence also at least managed to take note of the fact that she was being a disturbance to the creatures and beasts in the forest.

Deciding that staying in the pond wasn't the best thing for her, Essence teleported herself to her room.

Hm? This doesn't look like my room... Oh, well...

The white walls of this place she had teleported to were really beautiful. Clean and pure, everything in the room was also white to match the walls. It was like steeping into the light.

In her mind she made a decision to go to sleep but somehow ended up there. Clearly her decision making skills were being affected.

Well, at least it was a really great place to sleep, although it lacked the natural blue that she loved so much.

She stumbled with a bottle in hand on her way to the bed, making no effort to be quiet or try to hide her presence. She bumped into a few tables and even reached the opposite wall before finally arriving at the bed.

It wasn't necessary for nature goddesses to fall asleep since they had no such needs. Their bodies were connected to the island as if they were one. It could be better seen as Essence being the smaller, more attractive representation of Sagittarius Island.

Ever since Kaizoku had taken over - Err, joined hands with her in taking charge of the island, she was finding things like sleeping and eating to be really enjoyable actions. Especially eating. She's challenged Kaizoku a few times but for some reason it's like an impossible feat to overcome. He was a monster when it came to food.
