Ellie POV.
I noticed that Jace looked really tensed after he finished talking to the person on the phone. I think the issue was really disturbing.
He helped me to take the tray I wasn't able to grab by myself. After an hour, we were done baking and we started eating the cookies. He gave me lots of compliments. I was really happy someone liked my cookies.
" Um Tracy I have something very important to tell you", he said with a sad tone.
" Okay, but I would like to go the restroom first", I said.
I walked upstairs and used the restroom.
I was wondering what important thing does he want to tell me?
Does it have something to do with me ?
I could smell something fishy but I don't have any idea about what it was .
After some minutes, I went down stairs to listen to what Jace has to say.
" I'm back Jace. You wanted to explain something to me ".
" Oh yeah Ellie. You know, the call was from my manager. He was talking about some pictures of us together and there's also an article. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying?", He asked .
" I don't understand anything Jace. Pictures of us?
An article? What is all this about Jace , please explain to me what is going on because I'm starting to freak out .
" Ellie please don't freak out .I am a celebrity. I hope you understand that.
And I did stuffs that almost caused me my career", he explained.
" Ellie I'm- a- used- to be- Playboy . I use to make out with different ladies everyday. Pictures and videos of me making out with the ladies ,were leaked on social media.
I almost lost my job. My manager told me to try very hard to stay away from the ladies for at least a month. I really struggled during my first week but when I saw you for the first time, all intentions of sleeping around with different ladies every night just disappeared", he said .
"Ellie I think I'm falling for you . I will do anything, I mean anything to make you happy and keep you save.
About the article, I'll handle it . I will clear your name ", he said .
" Jace , I am.....I don't know what to say . You should have told me you were a celebrity. If you did I wouldn't have move in with you or even start for a night. I'm so sorry for causing this problem. I think I need to leave. Cause if I'm here, then your job . I'm sorry Jace".
" Ellie, I can't allow you to leave . I ... I love you Ellie. I know we can do this together and about my job, please forget that one . I have lots of companies around the world. Please don't leave please", he said with tears in his eyes.
"But Jace , what about your manager?, I asked.
" Henry will understand me", he replied.
"Ellie, you must know one thing. I love you and I want you to keep that in mind always", Jace and cupped my faced in his strong hands.
"Okay Jace. Can you give me time to think about it cause it's my first time".
" Sure. I will be waiting for your responses", he said and laid a kiss on my lips.
