Tracy POV.
"Dad, please leave mom alone please.
Listen to me , you are being a jerk and a big idiot. Just leave if you don't want us close to you . Oh no I think mom and I will leave I guess that will make the job easier and simple.
We are going so please fuck off dad. I don't get your point, what did I ever do to you. What did mom ever do to you. She has shown you love for all these years and you repay her back with . What kind of dad and husband are you?
"How dare you speak to me in the manner you bi......?", My dad said .
" Oh dad why did you stop? Continue, finish the word you jerk . I ain't afraid of you and I never will be . I will hate you till forever and when you come to apologise, the first thing I will do is throw you to jail for abusing me since childhood and abusing my poor mom too", I said with so much fury in my eyes.
"Wow nice words . You don't know what you are saying. I hated you since the time you were born you bitch and oh I am never going to apologise to you . Never do you get that ? ",My dad shouted.
" Whatever psycho, I don't have time to listen to all the senseless things you have got to say.
After I was done talking,I tried helping my mom but suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulders and when I turn to look at my dad ,he gave me a dirty slap and I screamed.
I woke up from the nightmare that haunted me for nine years. I touched my t shirt and I noticed the shirt Jace have me was soaked with sweat. I was breathing heavily as well.
I heard someone opening the door and went I looked at the door, Jace's figure was at the door. He turned on the light and moved closer to my bed.
" Can I join you and find out if you are okay ?, He asked and I nodded my head .
When he joined me on the bed, I hugged him so tight and started weeping because at that very moment,I needed someone to hold unto . I was happy Jace hugged me back . After twenty minutes, I withdrew from our hug and apologised for waking him up in the night of the night. But he seemed calm as I was talking. Jace walks to his room and gets me a new shirt to wear . I took it and changed it right in front of him.
He asked me if I wanted him to stay with me tonight. As a matter of fact I wanted him be to close to me.
"Mmmh...yes. I mean no . You need rest so you can go back", I said .
" I can really stay with you if you want Ellie I don't mind",he said but I still declined.
He quickly headed to the door and I called out to him.
" Jace,thank you so much for everything. That's really the first time someone is really looking out for me. I don't know how I'm going to repay you for your goodness. Thanks again", I said.
" Don't worry sweetheart,I will always be here for you. I promise", he said and left my room.
I checked the clock and it was 12:00am . I was so tired so I got some water and headed back to my bed and slept.
Jace POV.
I heard someone screaming from the room adjust mine, I was so scared something terrible might have happened to Ellie. I quickly got up and went to her room.when I entered, she was shivering as if she has been buried under ice and she was sweating like she just came from the boxing ring.
I asked for her permission to join her and she nodded.
When I got to the bed, she hugged like her life depended on it and I hugged her back.
Something was bothering her I need to find out what it is because since the time she came here, she has been acting so weird.
One thing was certain, I wasn't going to allow her to go back to the strip club again. I know very well that if I ask Leo to pay Ellie the huge amount of money or whatever he promised her , he would do that without hesitating.
After some minutes, she withdrew from our hug and I got to my room to get her a new shirt. She quickly wore it and stared at me .
I insisted on staying with her for the night but she declined.
So as I was leaving, she called me and thank me . I said few words, smiled and got to my room.
I got to my room but I couldn't sleep. All I could do was think about Ellie. Something wasn't right but I couldn't figure it out.
The way she looked after the nightmare clearly shows that it has been haunting her for a long time.
I remember her making a statement that she had no one to care for her.
I mean where's her family or her friends. I was so confused. I had to keep her safe and I was ready to do anything to make her happy.
I checked the thing and it was 1: 30 am . I suddenly fell into a deep sleep.
