Ellie POV. Today ,I celebrated my sweet sixteenth birthday and it was the day I was going to execute my escape plan. Today I was going to leave this hell and find a place of my own to call home in the outside world . I know it's dangerous out there but I need to leave as soon as possible.
At exactly 1:00 , I got to my dad's safe and took some of the money. Afterall he only uses the money to buy alcohol and get drunk. He doesn't care if mom and I have eaten or not. I always wonder why my mom feel in love with such a selfish jerk as him.
Few hours later,I was in San Francisco. I was astonished by what I saw . There were lots of skyscrapers. The environment was splendid. I loved the place already and I knew my life was going to perfect here.
Finally I felt free and happy. I met this man, who gave me an apartment for $250.00 every month. I knew I couldn't afford it for sometime to come so I decided to look for a job. I kept looking for a job and unfortunately the only place that accepted me to work was a strip club.

At some point,I didn't want to accept it but I needed the money . So the boss of the bar allowed me to go around and see the kind of environment I'll be working in and to my greatest dismay, I saw lots of men drinking, smoking and doing lots of nasty stuff. I don't know if I can do this but I had no other choice. I told Leo (the boss of the bar ) I will start working tomorrow and he was very happy to hear that. He also introduced me to my co workers. They looked like shit . They were all dressed half naked .I couldn't believe my eyes.
𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗡𝗘. At 8:00pm , I got up and dressed in my blue blouse and blue jeans. I took a cab to the bar and when I got there,I was taken to the changing room by one of my colleagues, Wendy. She gave me a pink wig and a sexy dress to wear. I kept staring at her and I asked that was I expected to put that rag looking dress on and she just chuckled and responded yes. I think I can't wear this . It is too revealing. Wendy called Leo and he asked me if I had a problem and I responded by saying yes .
"Leo I can't wear this out there. With all those men around, it's just not right", I said
" Hey girl, you better put on that f*cking dress on or leave and never come back. Look girl , this is the business. I know it's your first time but trust me , you will get used to the dress,the environment and even the men in the bar so chill. Now if you don't want me to loss my customers, please put on the dress and get your ass here. I'll be waiting for you . He said with a wink and left.
