CHAPTER 10// New life .

Ellie POV.
It has been a month since I moved in with Jace . Life has been so good .
I never thought I would find a place to call home or have someone to love me the way Jace does .

When he told me he loved me I was so surprised.
I loved him too but i wasn't sure about it because I never loved anyone not even myself .
My past affected me so much. it kept haunting me .

But I finally told him I loved him too and I also started loving myself. Since then my nightmares stopped.
I felt so loved .
Fortunately for Jace , he name was cleared and he started acting again.
 
Few weeks later.
" Baby , can I ask you something?", He asked .

" Yeah you bae", I replied.

"Okay. Please can you tell me about your family?.
I promise to tell you about mine ", he said.

Oh no. He should have asked me something else because I wasn't ready to share my sad story to him. I felt so embarrassed.

" Do you really want to know about that issue?", I asked.

"Yeah . It's important Ellie for me to know more about them so that when I finally meet they , I can ask for your hand in marriage", he said and smiled.

What al I  going to do now . He wants to meet my horrible parents?
That can't happen. It's to dangerous for him and especially for me because my life is in danger.

" Okay . But please tell me you won't freak out or overreact", I said .

"Okay bae".

" Well I was born in small town in Ohio.
And umm according to my mom, I arrived unexpectedly.
As in they weren't ready to have a baby that time .
  Since childhood,.........",I just  couldn't finish the sentence. I suddenly bursted into tears.

" Why didn't you finish the sentence Ellie and why are you crying. Please don't continue if you don't want to bae . It's fine with me ", he said and hugged me tight.

"No baby, I'll continue. You know for so many years I have kept this pain and sorrow in my heart . It's has been haunting me for ages but now I need to let it out.

"So as I was saying, since childhood, my dad hated me to much. He even tried burning my hands when I was just a year old.
   He has tried so many ways to kill me but he couldn't because of my mom. My mom protected me with all her life . But it turned out that now she was being abused physically like me .
My dad became a drunkard when I was born .
He hated me so that he told my mom that he won't rest unless I'm dead.
Life was so unfair to  me my dear , so I decided to travel to this place on my own and I did that perfectly.
  Leaving my small home back at Ohio was the best option because if I was to stay, I would have been dead  by now .
But this place that I thought was paradise wasn't paradise at all.

   When I arrived , I rented an apartment. I knew I wasn't going to able to afford every month so I decided to look for a job.

" I guess that is why you decided to work at the strip club because you had no other option right", he asked.
I couldn't do or say  anything , I just nodded.

" I'm so sorry Ellie bae . I shouldn't have brought this issue up at the first place", he said and run his hands through his hair.

" No Jace I'm happy you asked because I have kept it to myself for a very long time. After all , if you didn't know now , eventually you will know about it later and by that time it would be late", I said and wiped my tears.

"I met this guy at the bar and he took care of everything that had to do with me.
He made me go back to school.
I thought he did this because he was being my destiny helper.
        But he took advantage of me on my eighteenth birthday Jace.
He had sex with me against my will and afterwards, he told me to be his girlfriend which I agreed to because I had no other option .

"Wtf.... That brat took advantage of you my darling. I am so sorry Ellie. You really went through a lot", he said .
  
" He has been texting me sometimes and I don't want to talk to him. He disgust me so much . I can't keep running away from him because I know he will surely find me Jace", I said .

I am so sorry I couldn't update this chapter sooner .
