The episode begins with Vitali coming out of the portal from the Spirit Plain. He flies down to see the damages that has happened during the events of "Battle Nexus: New York."

Vitali: (whistles) Sheesh! What a mess! That Big Mama sure knows how to make a huge mess out of everything! (starts flying) But this isn't the time for sightseeing! I must get to the current members of the Hamato Clan! (lands on the rooftop) If I don't, then they won't be able to destroy Shredder!

He flies around to see a damaged Grand Nexus Hotel. He lands on the top where the top half of the hotel has been destroyed.

Vitali: (senses something) Whoa, these are really negative energy. Seems like Shredder was here. But he left after destroying this... building. I don't see anybody else here... (starts flying) This is bad... I need to find the current Hamato Clan members or else they're doom! (stops flying and puts his wings on the sides of his head) And that means I failed as a Spirit Guardian and my bosses will banish me! (breathes out) Don't freak out, Vitali... It'll be okay... Don't freak out. Just stay calm... A Spirit Guardian is always calm no matter the situation. So I must be as calm as the wind on a Spring morning. Now let's see where they are.

|Donnie's Room|

Raph: Hey Don! You got that promise ring I told you about?!

Donnie: Promise ring? (realizes) Oh yeah. I totally have it, big bro. (takes out a small black box from the dresser) Good thing they have these rings on sale. But uh, why did you ask me to get you a promise ring?

Raph: Uh... It's for Pudding! You know, as a gift for how much I love and admire her! (Donnie gives him a questioned look) I'm serious! I won't lie to you, my genius bro.

Donnie: I hope so. 'Cause if this isn't a promise ring, I'm gonna flip.

Raph: Don't worry about it. It's just a promise ring. Nothing more nothing less. (leaves his room and sighs; thinking) Sorry, Donnie. But it was a lie... (looks at the box) This is more than a promise ring. And I will ask the question to Veneranda. Hope she says yes... (walks off)

|Living Room|

Splinter: Wha~?! You're putting us under house arrest in the Lair?! Why?!

Kaminari: This is for your own safety, Lou-sama. Shredder is out there and most likely he's going after you and everyone else. That's why I contact all the Elemental Masters to guard the Lair in case the Shredder attempts to break in.

Splinter: Isn't that a bit excessive?!

Kaminari: This is necessary! Don't argue with a yokai! Especially when you're dating me! So please understand that I'm doing this for your own good.

Baron Draxum: She has a point, Splinter. Shredder won't stop until he destroys us. And besides, we need to unlock the Ultimate Form. It's the only way we can make sure Shredder is completely destroyed forever.

Alolan Ninetales: Okay... But don't get too overboard with this house arrest thing. We would like to have some kind of freedom.

Kaminari: Of course. This is just for now until we defeat Shredder once and for all.

Splinter: Right.

Vitali: Hm... This is a lot harder than I thought. They should be here somewhere... Why do we randomly disconnect with the current members in the mortal world!? (sighs) But it can't be helped. I must give them the scrolls. Even if I have to enter their minds to do it. Which would be wrong but whatever... I'm good at resourcing things. (sighs) Being a Spirit Guardian is not easy...
