Gulf POV

I get off the cab and slammed the door.

"That dictator, annoying bastard!" I cussed him non stop.

I then get into the 7-eleven and brought myself some cup instant noodles, some cold drinks, and a few snacks. As I was pouring the hot water on my instant noodles...

"Give me a pack of band-aids," I heard a familiar voice at the counter.

He then turned around and stunned the moment his eye lands on me.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Nothing. Just need some me time," I gave a short answer.

"Me time? In a 7-eleven?" he questioned me as he took a seat.

"Why? Is there any law stating I can't?" I asked back.

"Oi, so feisty!" he chuckled but then winced in pain due to his cuts.

"Of course! I still remember what you did the other day, P'San! You even dare to insult my son!" I cussed as I started enjoying my instant noddle.

He then unpacked the band-aid and tried to put it on.

"Did you get into a fight?" I questioned his condition.

"Isn't that obvious?" he chuckled as he failed to put the band-aids the cut on his face.

"Don't you get tired? Having a fight with everyone?" I asked as I took out one band-aid, unwrapped it, and put it on him.

"Not like I wanted too," he answered with a low voice.

"Then stop causing trouble! You are not a kid anymore for God's sake. Aren't you thinking of your family at all? Your Por is not even with us anymore isn't he?" I nagged.

"It's none of your concern!" he hissed.

"Exactly. Oi, what do I even bother?" I left out a huge sigh.

"Is there something bothering your mind?" he asked as he unwrapped the snacks I have brought.

"Maybe yes, maybe no. Well, it's none of your concern," I then finished up my instant noodle by drinking its broth.

"Why are you venting it out at a convenient store? Usually, people would opt to bar," he mocked my choice.

"P'San, this is my style. Don't make fun of it! Plus, let's be honest... when you are bothered by something it's actually better to went somewhere quite instead of the chaotic bar. Plus, it's cheaper and makes you full. Good investment, no after effect," I give my reason.

"No after effect?"

"Yeah. No accidental incident that happens simply because you got too drunk," I explained as I opened the cold drink.

"Oi, just admit it. You are not a strong drinker right?" he teased.

"Well, yeah. But personally, I never really liked alcohol. From the smell, the taste, to the after effect. Just, not my style," I brushed it off as I finish up the cold drink.

"Have you ever thought that having your son was a mistake?" he threw his gaze to the cars.

"Nope. Never. To be honest, he gave me hope," I can't help but smile wide like an idiot every time I think of my precious gem.

"Hope?"

"Yeah, hope. Hope that no matter how hard things are, I have him who loved me with his whole heart and will never leave," I smiled to myself.
