Chapter 26 : Love, is never logic

Mew POV

After tossing around for the whole night, I just dump my attempt to sleep; as it is now 5 AM, and took a quick shower. The quickest shower I ever had given that I don't want to bump into that alien that makes my freaking mind go haywire like this. I dropped my car key on the bedside table so that he could commute on his own and left using my superbike instead.

I ride straight to Tum's room. Only to find it empty.

The fuck did this guy went off to?

I then take out my smartphone and called him.

"AI'Tum, where are you?" I asked straight.

"Aw, I have a meeting with our future client, remember? It's over breakfast so I left early," he explained.

"Why? Did something happened?" he asked.

"Nothing!" I then ended the call.

I then ride my bike around the resort. Hoping I would feel lighter. After a few rounds, I pulled over at our garden to watch the sunrise.

"Aw, Khun Mew?" someone called me out.

"Oh? Grace? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Today I'm in charge for our visitor from South Korea, Khun Mew. I'm heading to our lobby," she explained.

"I see. Grcae, you really need to stop calling me 'Khun'.." I pointed out.

"Khorthot Na, Khun Mew...I mean, P'Mew. Why are you here alone? Wheres P'Gulf?" she questioned.

"Oh, He needs to stay at home to take care of Type," I gave an excuse.

"Oh, then...how about the cafe?" she asked as we walked side by side.

"For the baking, Techno will take over. Given that Boat just got his barista license while Turbo will manage the serving. Mai and Eye will come over if the crowds gets bigger," I chuckled thinking of the trio.

"How's your work? Is everything doing fine? Or Naree is still giving you a hard time?" I asked to prolong the chat.

"Well, I just brush her off and just focus on my work. P'Gulf keeps on reminding me to do my best so others won't question that you are hiring me just because I'm P'Gulf sister," she chuckled.

Gulf...

"Has he always been like that? I mean, being too hard on himself? Being with him, I can't help but notice that he likes to do things on his own and tried his best not to depend on anyone," I raised my concern.

"Well, P'Gulf has been like that. I think he started to behave that way after his parents passed away. Isn't it natural? He's on his own..."

"Aw, he has you isn't it? You're his sister," I chuckled.

"Oh, er...yeah. But well, that's him. Very independent," she chuckled.

"Grace, you have been staying with him even when he further his studies in South Korea isn't it?" I try my luck.

"Er...yeah. Why did you ask, P'Mew?" she questioned.

"Well, I'm just wondering. Do you perhaps know Bright too?"

"I know him, but not that close. Given that P'Gulf is very secretive. He didn't say much on who he meets when he's not at home. If anyone, he would tell P'Techno," she states the fact.

She's right...

I've never seen Gulf having a leisure talk with anyone else except Techno. But, even Techno didn't know who Type biological father is! But Techno knows Bright, looking at how he greeted Bright on the opening day. Maybe Gulf and Bright date behind everyone's back? Well, I must admit that gay relationship isn't that excepted in South Korea...
