I'll save you the trouble of reading my awful, awful, fight scene writing, and just tell you who won. (Oh btw, in case I made it seem like it, Teria and Daiki are not siblings.)

Todoroki got second place, and
Teria got third.

Deku's POV

After the festival, the group and I all ran up to Teria and hugged her.
"Great job, Tee!" I smiled widely. She giggled and smiled back.

Once we let go, Daiki walked up to Teria and kissed her.

At this point, my protective friend senses were going off hard.
Shinso was giving me a look so I reluctantly didn't PROTECT MY ANGEL CHILD.

It's been a week sense the festival ended, and today we're getting to see who wanted us for internships.

While talking to Tokoyami, Jiro, and Shoji, dad came in. We each went back to our desks and listened.
"I'll just give you your intern sheets..." He says and yawns, as he hands out the sheets of paper.

I looked through mine. I had plenty. But only one caught my eye; Hawks' agency.
He doesn't take in interns but I suppose he's started this year. I wonder if anyone else has been requested for him?

I circle the agency in red sharpie and go to fill out the papers.

After I'm done, I start talking to Toko, Kyoka, and Shoji again about the internships.
"Do you know which ones you're gonna choose?" Shoji asked.
"I already did. Hawks." Tokoyami and I said in unison.
I smile at him and he gives me a little nod.

"He takes in interns?" Kyoka asks,
"This year he started, I suppose." Toko said.
I shrugged.

After everyone but I had left, as far as I knew, I began packing up my backpack only to fall from my chair.

When I open my eyes, again, I see Kacchan. Oh. He pulled out my chair. Of course.
I only rolled my eyes and got up.
"Thanks a lot, Kacchan." I said, annoyed.
"Don't give me attitude, nerd! It's been a while sense I've put you in your place!" He grins maniacally.

My face remains blank, if not slightly annoyed.
He puts his hand on my shoulder and sets off explosions.

Can you say "Bitch face"?

He continues to beat me up like always, the only difference being he did it harder just to try and get a reaction other than annoyance out of me.

After he finished, I got up, finished packing, and left for the Elementary school to pick up Eri.

"Hey, Er-bear." I say as I hug my sister.
"Izu-Nii, that boy was being mean to me!" She said, tears in her eyes and pointed at that punk with the blond and red hair.

"Hey, kid!" I call the boy over and crouch down to his level.
"What do you want?" He asks.
"I want to know why you're being mean to my sister."
"She's weird."

"I could say that about anyone. I could say that about you. Listen, kid, have you ever heard of the Golden rule?"
"Nuh-uh."
"It says 'treat others the way you wanna be treated.' And I don't think you want to have people be mean to you. So be nicer. Understood?"
"Understood..."
"Thank you!"

I walked back over to Eri, grabbed her hand and left for home.

Once we got there, I sat down next to dad in the kitchen.
"I picked Hawks's agency for internships. Tokoyami did too so I'll be interning with him." I say casually.
"Okay. Hizashi and I have to go to the hospital. Ingenium got injured by the hero killer."

And that's when I connected the dots.

Earlier that day, I had overheard Iida talking about how he's going to intern with Manual. Hito was as well but that made more sense to me, considering it was one of the higher ranking agencies he was asked to intern at.

Manual's agency is suspiciously close to where the hero killer last striked, if I'm getting my information correctly.

I said bye to dad and ran upstairs into my room and called Hitoshi.
"Hey, Izu, what's up?"
"You need to keep an eye out for Iida at the internships, okay? I think he's planning to go for the hero killer since he injured his brother." I explained in slight panic.
What if he had already left?

"Got it."
"Thank you, Hitoshi, love you, bye." I said without thinking and hung up.

Wait a minute..... I just said.....
