Our Illegal Band (Bnha)

Chapter 17

It was a day before the Sports Festival and Izuku was training with Hitoshi, Jiro, Reli and Tokoyami.

They were all hella nervous, some more vocal about than others.

"Izuku, get out of the corner." Reli said, rolling her eyes at the greenette, who was crying in the corner, being comforted by his boyfriend and sister.

He hissed at her.

"excuse me, did he just hiss at me?" She asked, confuzzled.
"Yes he did-" Eri got cut off by Hitoshi's burst of laughter.

After that whole ordeal, they continued training.

The day of the Sports Festival

Izuku was a nervous wreck.
And he felt guilty for being a nervous wreck, he's supposed to be the leader, why is he being so... Weak?

He walked out of his room in his uniform and sat down in the common room, where Eri sat there, playing with a stuffed bunny he'd given her for her 3rd birthday.

"Hey, girly." He tiredly greeted.
"Hi, Nii-Chan!" She said and walked up to Izuku, "Wanna play with me?"
"Sure."

They played a bit untill they had to go to school.
Izuku dropped her off at her school, and headed to the Sports Festival.

(Let's cut to the chase)

"The first challenge is an obstacle course, but first... Could the groups step up?" Midnight asked
6 groups, including us, stepped up.
"Alright, you each will have to choose a partner from a different group. Group leaders pick other leaders." She explained.

I look around.
Bingo.

I stepped up to a blond boy and give him a look. He nods slightly and extends his hand.
"Hello, Izuku Midoriya."
"Hello, Neito Monoma."

We both smiled, almost sinisterly and start to plan.

"THREE.. TWO.. ONE.. GO!"

The two leaders where off first. Neito had copied Daiki's quirk and flew they were flying above the course.
Soon enough, it wore out and they landed on the ground.

They started running through a mine field, but when Sero passed them, Neito touched his arm and gained his quirk.

He grabbed Izuku's hand and they were off, flinging themselves with Sero's tape.

They were soon passed by a bunch of ice and explosions.

Izuku erased their quirks by singing the song 'I Miss The Misery'

The two 1-A students fell from the sky and landed. They didn't know of this part of Izuku's quirk so they were left, baffled and angry.

They soon reached the end of the course, first place.

Next, was the Cavalry Battle.

Neito and Izuku got Tokoyami and Soru to join them.

Soru and Neito carried while Izuku held the headbands, and Tokoyami was defence.

(Idk how these work so imma skip this. They got first place, Bakugo's team got second.)

After the battles, you could hear, from the stands, the explosive students yells.
His team, Mina, Kirishima, and poor Teria were trying to calm him down, with Teria having to cast a calming blessing on him, in the end.

And finally, the 1 on 1 battles.

The first one was Tokoyami against Teria.
After a minute or two, she figured out Tokoyami was weak against light, so she cast a light blessing and threw him out of bounds when he was distracted.

Next was Bakugo vs Kirishima.
It was a longer fight, but eventually Bakuhoe blew hard boi out of bounds.

Mina vs Sero.
Mina ended up using something that Izuku had taught her. She grabbed his tape and swung him out of bounds, effectively tying him up as well.

Izuku vs. Neito.
Now, Neito could have any quirk as long as he touched the person who's quirk he's using and it only lasts about 5 minutes.
Deku, on the other hand, had little to no restrictions and the aspect of experience was on his side.

Neito first used his classmate, Tetsutetsu's quirk as offence, but Izuku canceled it out.
"You're a copycat~ you take it then you leave it hunny, just like that. Just like that.
You're falling flat, you find someone like me to bring you up right back.
Up right back.
Copycat~
Copycat~"

He effectively distracted him, grabbed his hand, and swung him out of bounds, gracefully. Now, you couldn't say the same for Neito. He was laying on the ground now.

Last was Todoroki vs Reli
Let's be honest, Reli was done for. She had good control and didn't rely on her quirk, which was amazing, but Todoroki did, and he had a hella overpowered quirk.
He immediately engulfed her in ice.

Now we had to take a break for all of it to melt.

Deku met up with my group with the addition of Tokoyami, Mezo, (Ik I said I'd get rid of him bc of Jiro's hero name but... I really like him.)Ashido, and Kaminari.

See, this was the Dekusquad. There was the Bakusquad, the Urasquad(the original Dekusquad) and the dekusquad.

They were each different.
The Urasquad was innocent beans, the Bakusquad were memers, and the Dekusquad were emo, depressed, secret crackheads but they were viewed as just the emo, secret cinnamon rolls for whatever reason.

They were just hanging, doing... Things...

Okay they were wreaking havoc, but it was fun.
