"A person's childhood defines their future character. The morals you learn, the love you receive or the trauma you experience, all of these things help create the person you become. But that's not the case for everyone, some people may be strong enough to overcome their past, but not everyone."

With this Philosophy in mind Rei raised her children for the next 15 years. She never thought that she'd end up like this again. A mother of 3. But somehow everything worked out.

Her relationship with Enji was strained the first few years. They walked around egg shells around each other, but they Learned
to compromise and get over it. It was true that time heals all wounds, but the ghastly scars still remain, a painful remainder of the past, but also a trigger, to learn and get better and strong enough to never repeat those mistakes.

Just like that, she may have forgiven Enji, because now, he was a genuinely good man and a good father, he loved his children He was a proud father, she remembered how Proud he was when Fuyumi came first in the Art contest, When Natsuo learned how to ride a bike all on his own and when Shoto first called him Dada. Not Father, Dada.

But even after seeing him love and cherish her children, teaching them to be strong and independent, In the depth of her mind, she could never fully forgive him for what had happened to her eldest.

Life had been good. After the family spent time mourning Touya the household had become glum and no one spoke, it was getting too awkward and so she finally took up Hisashi's offer and set up a play date. With Fuyumi in her new art class and Enji teaching Natsuo soccer, she and Baby Shoto set off to the Midoriya household.

Shoto and Izuku hit it off straight away. It was a bit awkward at first, with shoto always the quiet baby stared as the baby cinnamon roll also known as Izuku rolled around in his All Night onesie. But they soon learned how to play together in the quiet with more than a occasional giggle which made Rei's heart want to melt.

The noise and fighting really started when Baby Katsuki joined the fro. The first thing he did was run and snatch the All Might plushie from baby Izukus hand causing the cinnamon roll to cry out, huge drops of tears spilling form his eyes.

Shoto being the little hero he was could never let his friend be sad and with the most ferociousness she had ever seen from the usually calm baby snatched away the toy and shouted "No! ". Everyone went silent as Rei though " That's probably Enji's genes talking" And the next thing you know, it was an all out war.

An extremely angry Katsuki tackled an equally surprised Shoto to a tug of hair war as they rolled around shouting cries, even baby Izuku joined the battle trying to save baby Shoto . It was the beginning of a very beautiful friendship.

That's when she realised just how much things had changed. Izuku still had his dad, and Enji was a good father. Also Izuku hadn't lost half of confidence when he realised he didn't have a quirk. Yes he was extremely disheartened but this time he had a good support system.

This time Katsuki didn't bully Izuku because Izuku had Shoto who defended him and taught him to be brave. Yes there were the occasional insults and teasings but it was not outright bullying. Both of his friends helped him alongside his father who encouraged him that a quirk wasn't everything and that anyone could be a hero.

But the best help and advice came from someone totally unexpected. Endeavor himself came to help him. Enji had returned to hero work after a few years, with new resolution and had quickly claimed his position as the No. 2 Hero. But this time he was a beloved and trusted hero.

It was true inspiration to Izuku when the No. 2 Hero came himself in full uniform to support him. Enji told Izuku that even though he didn't have a quirk, Izuku would become a hero, because he would be getting help from one of the best and being a hero wasn't just about the quirk, it was the drive to help and protect others that made a true hero. And just like that Izuku was enrolled into a Martial arts course to learn more than 5 different forms and was invited alongside Katsuki to train  with him and Shoto. And that was the beginning of a beautiful Rivalry.

But not everything changed, Shoto still got his Scar, but not in the same way as before but a scar nonetheless. When he was 5 he was in his "Big Boy" Phase where he wanted to help him mummy with everything. So one day when the water on the stove was boiling away he decided to get it to help her. He got on the stool, but because of the weight of the pot he feel down, and with him, down came the pot of boiling water.

He was rushed to the ER and came with a Ghastly scar around his eyes. She had bawled her eyes out seeing his previously flawless skin with that iconic scar, that was the day she learned that she needed to be extra careful because, even if she tried to change everything she was not omnipotent, and there were some things that were just meant to be.

And so now here she was driving in the highway with Shoto sitting beside her as stiff as a board trying to be calm , but she could see how he was actually nervous as he was twiddling his fingers.

"So it's finally the day" She said smiling

"Ya" He said looking outside the window

"You do know you don't have to do the admission exam right? I mean you did get a recommendation if I'm correct" She asked

"I want to prove myself mum, I don't want a free pass just because of dad, besides Izuku and Bakugo are participating and they'll never let me down if I get in without fighting"

They soon reached the UA. As he was getting out of the car she said "Final chance Shoto"

"Hn"

"You know I liked you better when you were younger, such a cute baby boy always happy and smiling,my little ball of sunshine, now you're just a ball of broody teenage angst" She said chuckling as Shoto ran, his face red.

And so she was on her way again, but home was not her destination instead she made her way towards her favorite coffee shop. She greeted the people as she entered, the whole cafe was filled but her usual seat only had one person sitting there. She slowly made her way there as she sat down in front of the person.

"It's been a while " She said, the man just nodded his eyes relived and happy after seeing her after such a long time.

"You've been working hard" She said noticing the bandages on his face.
"You should be more careful, you've been getting hurt a lot" She said taking his hand  calloused hand traceing the scars and burns that littered his skin.

"So tell me " She said smiling "How have you been Touya? "
