"Why here?" Aron asked as he looked around.

"Why not? I mean it's obvious if you think about it," His companion, Sullivan answered with a laugh.

Aron was quiet for a moment before admitting his defeat, "Really, why? Sure it's pretty here but the white stone heats up quickly in the sun. It doesn't seem worth burning her feet and nothing is worth wearing shoes. So what makes this place so special?"
"Well first off, the ground doesn't get that hot and on top of that she keeps her feet bandaged. So stop exaggerating, it's unbecoming of an angel,"The silverette laughed as Aron snorted at him.

"Whatever," Aron rolled his eyes, "But come on. Really, why is it so special here?"
"Really wanna know?" Sullivan smirked.

"Yes, I don't know her as well as you do so please explain her choice to me," Aron sighed, crossing his arms as they walked.

"Well asking like that, how could I refuse?" Sullivan didn't give up his teasing as he laughed, earning another sigh and eye roll from his blue haired companion.

"Yes yes, the ground can get a bit warm alright? You get a point there. But let's look at more than the ground for once. You know she loves scenic places. And if this city isn't scenic them I'm not a reaper." Sullivan continued. "Not to mention the weather is perfect. The record high for temperature is seventy two degrees. How could our little ice block not like it here?"

Aron nodded, starting to see himself why his wife enjoyed the city.

"Add that to the constant, gentle sea breeze blowing through and already it's ideal here. But add in the sights as well? Paris might as well admit defeat and hand over it's title of number one tourist destination," Sullivan snorted.

Aron laughed, "If only humans could travel like us. It is nice here though..."
"Exactly! I mean just look up! Riding the breeze you can see the birds anywhere in the city. They're stunning with their ruby and emerald feathers," Sullivan was smiling happily.

"True, and they're ebony beaks, glinting in the sun while their feathers shine. Their colors are as bold as the fish. I'll admit it's an impressive sight," Aron nodded.

"Hmm, out in the shining waves of cooling sapphire those creatures own the endless expanse and the canals through the city.

"They come up so close you could count their shining iridescent scales while you fed them. And their size is unbelievable if compared to any fish from your home!" Sullivan laughed.

"True, they are intimidating in size but I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to try and swim with them. So the wildlife is impressive but what of the rest?" Aron smiled.

"Well take a walk through the living quarters.

"Added to the melodious songs of the birds and beats of the gentle waves you'll hear the trumpeting horns from the ship's coming to dock down in the ports.

"You'll amaze and disappoint me if you don't stop at least once to watch the silk curtains in windows and doors flutter in the breeze and truly I will bow before you if you can keep yourself from drooling over the smell of baking goods and cooking fishes and meats," Sullivan licked his lips just thinking about it.

Aron laughed before adding, "Yes and everywhere you go you can always smell that faint flowery scent carried by the breeze."

"Oh!! And it mixes so nicely with the smells from the ice cream shop! I love eating outside for that reason. Fresh waffle cones and cherry toppings could not even compare anywhere else!" Sullivan was laughing and Aron chuckled too.

"Personally I prefer chocolate over cherry," Aron commented.

"Oh no! Cherry and vanilla toppings drizzled and dotted over that caramel pecan ice cream. My oh my, I swear each bite has heaven's choir singing for it!"

Aron laughed at Sullivan's comment as he watched the silverette shamelessly spin and swoon so both of them were laughing.

"Alright, I can see why she would like it here," Aron smiled.

"Told you it was obvious. But let's go find Holly.. she probably thinks I've killed you by now," Sullivan smirked.

"Nah, I bet she's not even worried," Aron shook his head.

"You're on, I say she'll meet us halfway," Sullivan challenged.

"Loser buys ice cream?" Aron asked.

"Oh, now I'm definitely winning!"
